Sam had made her way into her temporary quarters, stretching her arms as she walked in with quite the smile on her face. Quite a day this has been already, but finally she could just sit back in her quarters and relax.

As always Kh'reyah rapped once on the door before walking through it; she then proceeded to casually pick Sam up from the floor and embrace her with a kiss to the forehead.

She let out a small yelp but laughed shortly afterwards. "Hey there, love! How are you?" She grinned brightly at her wife, wrapping her arms around the Klingon and pulling her in just a bit closer.

"I am excellent. Thank you..." She laughed and let go of her wife, dropping her to the ground at last. Well, drop on her feet of course, she didn't want to break her in two. "The tactical facilities here are good, but pale in comparison to Starfleet Headquarters. Hungry?"

"Quite!" She smiled warmly and pressed a quick kiss on Kh'reyah's lips before making her way to the couch and sitting down in it. "Well, I haven't seen any facilities regarding my division yet, so I guess you're having better luck than I am having." She said with a chuckle, leaning back in the couch.

"Exactly! And we don't want that, now do we?" She said with a smile, scooting closer to Kh'reyah. When she sat next of her, she wrapped her arms around the Klingon's waist, pulling her in closer. "I don't want to loose my precious wife after all."

She smiled softly and sat down in Kh'reyah's lap, wrapping her arms around the woman's neck. "Trust me, I wish so too. But you know the job takes most of my time." She gently put her hand on Kh'reyah's cheek, caressing her head gently.
