He walked out into the corridor. "I can't wait to meet my old crew. I've written back and forth with some of them but, I'm super excited to see them, i can hardly contain myself." He was almost jumping with excitement.

She laughed. "It'll be sureal to see them in person again right? It's going to be absolutely great to see them all in one place again." She said with another smile.

He nodded. "Just like the good old days. They were tough at times but damn did I love the old crew. I heard one of my old ensigns has even made it to commander."

"Really?" She nudged him playfully. "Must have been because of their great mentor." She teased.

He joked. "Oh I know full well it was because of my mentorship." He snickered. "But really she was always destined to go places, I just helped along the way."

"Oh come on, you know a anyone with great potential can't go anywhere without a good person to lead them." She pointed out.

He simply laughed as they entered into the lift. "You give me too much credit. Now I'm just an unassuming sheriff." He joked pointing at the hat he was still wearing.

She made her way to the lift.

"Doesn't mean you didn't greatly impact their lives." She pointed out as they entered the turbolift.
