@everyone The dates for the future event have now been added to our calendar - you have a week to come up with your character’s future concept and submit it here. Please fill in all the required details and then post it below. If your submission is okay we’ll mark it with the approved emoji - if not, then we’ll message you in the #rp-discussion channel to let you know what to change. Please remember that there might be multiple people who would want the same position (e.g. if people want to serve as division heads on 777) so you may have to discuss this with others first. Once accepted you’ll be free to make a future-themed tupper with your rank and division etc. in our normal format, but please refrain from using these IC or OOC until the event. If you have any questions or want to check over an idea in advance then please message the admins in #rp-discussion so we can help!

Through exemplary performance and diligence for a few years, Kassell earned his way to that of a Gul and command of a starship (thanks to the recommendation from the captain). Being at the age of forty-two, he's rather happy and content with what he's accomplished. Position: Chief of Security (Transferred out to the USS Saratoga) Backstory Synopsis: After spending four years on 777, Weber was transferred onto another station where he spent the next six years, he started dating a woman named Amanda, over the first year and a half he dated her and married her at the end of his second year on the station and two years later they had their first child together, that same year he was also promoted to lieutenant as the stations ACOS after the other received a promotion and transfer. On his sixth year on the staion he received another transfer and was promoted to Lieutenant Commander to the USS Saratoga, a science vessel, as the chief of security. He spent the next few years there until he heard about the reunion on 777 and took a week's leave to go visit with his family and see how his first posting had changed. Name: Ughaz'udan Age: 17 Rank: Captain (AFS) Position: CO, AFS Dukan'rex Following the conclusion of his exchange tenure in Federation space and returning to Khitomer Alliance headquarters he would go on to serve aboard the AFS Thunderchild , once more as head of Tactical, for two years. It was during this time that he began to miss the new bonds he'd forged during his tenure aboard the station - most notably with civilian bartender Virana Taf. Perhaps it was also fitting that he was simply overjoyed when she eventually managed to land a job aboard the Thunderchild as the ship's bartender. The two decided to continue with their relationship and, in a historic circumvention of norms for his people, the two married three years later. Following this it would be another six years of service and a transfer before he was promoted to First Officer of the AFS Kererek. He served aboard with distinction for the next four years before his captain was killed in battle with hostile Vadwaaur in the Delta Quadrant. Seizing command of the Kererek Ughaz'udan managed to return the ship and its crew to the Jenolan Dyson Sphere. For this achievement and in view of his long service he was promoted and given command of the newly produced Dukan'rex class - who better to command a ship named after a Jem'hadar, then a Jem'hadar? • Name: Khayl'sh, daughter of K'Emir • Age: 86 • Rank: General • Position: Dahar Master, Klingon Representative to the AFS • Backstory Synopsis: Khayl'sh serves as the envoy to the Federation for the next 3 years, realizing that her position granted a certain level of safety from those who may wish to harm her on the high council, she exercises her rights and position to gain more political influence. 5 years from now, she is granted a promotion to the rank of Colonel, and serves in command of a large fleet within the AFS, learning to co-operate with the Federation and their weird way of acting. Despite her continued opposition to the rule of a clone in a politically important position as the Chancellor, she manages to form close allies with the rest of the members of the High Council, this, along with the suppression of numerous rebellions, granting her numerous battle scars and glorious stories to be spread through the Empire, had the position of Dahar Master bestowed upon her as one of the great warriors of the time. She continues her way up the military ranks, making promotion to Brigadier by 10 years after leaving Starbase 777, and General just 4 years after that. Defiance • Backstory Synopsis: Wheatley had served in Starbase 777 for 5 years before he was transferred to another ship called USS Defiance, where he would spend the next 7 years in service across known space and be promoted to Lieutenant up to Lieutenant Commander as he worked and instructed engineering ensigns like a very eccentric teacher. However, he would inevitably be injured in an accident during an away mission to a dying planet. Wheatley had unfortunately lost his right arm up to the elbow after being trapped under a falling rock in an unaccessible place, but that didn't stop him from working his ass off after he recovered, and kept on going until he could finally rest and hopefully go on to become a baker. Since then, he's been working as the Chief Engineer of his ship and instructor for the new ensigns and spent his years doing what he did best: Being eccentric and helping people. Not long had gone through before he heard of the reunion at Starbase 777, and he immediately put everything on hold to go. Name: Nora Garner Age: 42 Rank: Commander Position: Chief of Security - Intelligence Station, Starbase 89 Backstory Synopsis: After a long awaited promotion and a few years on starbase 777, Nora decided that it was time to move on. Knowing that she still didn't enjoy being on a starship joined station G-K3. She did well here, gaining another few promotions until she became the station's Assistant Chief Security officer. Unfortunately it took a toll on her mental health and she took a leave of absence to return to Deep Space 9 to be with her mothers. She spent a few months there, but soon removed and was ready to return to duty. However before that was able to happen, a young Cardassian girl arrived onto the station, abandoned. Nora realize the connection between the girl and herself, and made the decision to adopt her. Soon after that she was offered the position of Chief of Security on Starbase 89, where she's been serving ever since. She is single, and her daughter Roska is now 8. Donavon where she met her future husband, a civilian scientist working with Starfleet and was married a year later. Shortly afterwards, Emin, now Mirak, was promoted to Lieutenant after an especially dangerous run in with an Orion pirate ship during an away mission. She stayed on the ship for five more years, having two children, Mirak Kaerell (10) and Mirak Dezin (12) before transferring to the U.S.S. Pergamum, an ambassador ship where she worked for two years until she was promoted to Lieutenant Commander after the previous Chief of Security was killed . Five years after making Lieutenant Commander she was then promoted to Commander after helping save the ship from an attack from a hostile alien species. She continued to work well in her new role until she was finally given the opportunity of Captaincy, and to become the Commanding Officer of Starbase 777. She then returned to Earth for a time, helping with construction on a few ship models and newer propulsion systems before being assigned to the Merciful, where she serves as a chief scientist. He was awarded the legendary five-year mission and when he returned Command offered Clarke the position of Commodore, in charge of about four small ships galavanting around the galaxy. • Name: Leora Ville • Age: 22 • Rank: N/A • Position: None within Starfleet - serves as resort staff on Risa • Backstory Synopsis: Leora had always been a person of few ambitions. Very relaxed and ever-calm, she had an approach to life which was often far slower paced than that of everyone else. After emerging from secondary education with good grades but no desire to pursue them further, she ended up travelling off-planet and started picking up jobs here and there to occupy herself. When she ended up on Risa it did not take much coaxing for her to stay, filling in roles where she was needed such as working as housekeeping staff in the main resort or taking care of plants in the subterranean gardens. She was happy to do as was required and thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of life there -- only to very suddenly have that serenity turned on its head. When Risa played host to a large diplomatic conference their security was amplified significantly but it did not stop an assassination from occurring right upon their own pier. As law enforcement took over the resort she had kept out of the way, but soon found herself being contacted by the elusive Symbiosis Commission from Trill. With the planet halting transport in and out to try to hunt down the assassin it meant that they could not send someone to Risa; and as such, they were contacting her as the stricken ambassador had been Joined. Leora had never paid any thought to being joined and she certainly wouldn't have been the Commission's first choice, but she was the right age and simply the only person available. It was her duty, they said -- and so as such, she became the host to the Ville symbiont. For six months Leora continued working but things felt so different, so strange -- and then one day she received a letter inviting her to Starbase 777. She felt it must have been delivered in error but it was certainly addressed to her. Maybe someone out there felt that she needed some help reconciling with her predecessor's life... • Name: Vincent Ferrufino • Age: 49 • Rank: Lieutenant Commander • Position: Chief Medical Officer, Starbase 777 • Backstory Synopsis: For someone who had tried desperately hard to move away from the world of physical medicine, Vince ended up becoming enveloped in it. What started as him taking up shifts in his old position as a trauma doctor out of sheer necessity due to short staffing soon turned into the norm. Aboard a starbase Vince soon found that things were not as hectic as they had been when he had served aboard one of the medical fleet's vessels - a place where the stress had gotten to him and one bad case had eventually broken him. In most cases life on a station was far more calm; and while there were still incidents here and there, they felt far more manageable. Still wishing to continue with his work in the line of mental health, Vince completed his training in psychiatry and ended up balancing the three roles quite carefully so he could experience part of them all: trauma, counselling, and psychiatry. It wasn't exactly easy but he enjoyed the variation, and over time he made it work -- being sent to Station 112 assisted in this as it was far smaller with fewer people to worry about. He became a known advocate for people learning to study and work in capacities that they wanted to while learning to manage their stress and find something that worked for them, and after a time, his work led to him being offered the position of ACMO. Vince had never anticipated being in a senior staff position before but he took it under his wing, and after a period of serving aboard Station 112 ended up on Outpost 370 where he continued to serve as an ACMO there. The Outpost was remote, however, even by the standards of other factions being so far away -- and he began to yearn for the time he had spent elsewhere, including Starbase 777 where they had been on the fringes of Federation territory but yet so connected to everywhere else. After graduation she served aboard the USS Felix and made her way up the ranks to Lt. JG. After a while, she even took a doctor's exam and became a full doctor, gaining her rank of lieutenant shortly after. Curiosity(Tucker Class) • Backstory Synopsis: After serving aboard 777 for another 5 years, specifically in the position of CO of the Eventide Mona eventually received a promotion to a larger more top of the line starship. She’d go on to serve aboard the Curiosity for about 3 years before the admiralty offered her the rank of commodore and a promotion to command a large station. Mona certainly didn’t fancy herself the stationary type so therefore she rejected the promotion. Her place was in her captain’s chair, and she preferred the rank of captain. • Name: Nova Wynters • Age: 40 • Rank: Commander • Position: Special Agent In Charge, Star Fleet Criminal Investigative Service • Backstory Synopsis: Upon finishing her 6th year aboard Starbase 777, Wynters had already been promoted once to Lieutenant and had transferred into the investigations division of Starfleet Security. Looking to broaden her scope of duty she applied to SCIS and upon acceptance had received a honorary promotion to Lt. Commander. 4 years prior to the events of the reunion, Wynters was assigned as the Agent Embarked aboard the USS. Conquest, a Federation Science Vessel. During her time on board she was responsible for the arrest and prosecution of several corrupt command and crew members resulting in what became a large scale corruption scandal for the Federation, which lead to investigators uncovering several plots by corrupt command staff to falsify reports and records, in order to engage in combat with less then violent opponents. Following the events Wynters received a promotion to Commander and was granted the position of Special Agent In Charge. She decides to train in tactics and gets promoted to Suba'toran. She helps Jem'Hadar and other Vorta assimilate to Alliance life and serves on a lot of joint campaigns with other Alliance members. She has gotten better at communicating with others and is a 35 year old vorta! Very exciting for the Aella line. She is regarded as one of the most successful cases of Vorta serving with the Alliance. She took remedial classes for many of those years until she was able to get rid of the imposter syndrome she felt after her graduation. She then took a posting at Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards. For over ten years, she lived her dream. She was on the design team for several of the Fleet’s newest classes. Later on she lead the design team for the USS Montgomery, the first Enterprise Class starship. After it’s maiden voyage, Hop submitted her transferral to the USS Atlas, an exploratory vessel. So many years behind a drafting table had her hungry for the excitement of open space again. A Future Glimpse Character Template • Name: Orith N'Ten • Age: 47 • Rank: Riov (Captain) • Position: Captain of the Hatos II, Rahhae-class Recon Warbird • Backstory Synopsis: After spending five years as a liaison aboard Star base 777, Orith finally was able to let go what bits of resentment he had towards Starfleet when denied to help Romulus in their time of need, and took the time to actually grow from his interactions with the people aboard the star base. He would return to the Romulan Republic at the end of his tenure, taking on senior position in Republic Intelligence for the next eight years, rooting out any remnants still serving the Tal Shiar. Thanks to a recommendation from his previous captain of the R.R.W. Hathos, Orith was was assigned command over his very own Rahhae-class Recon Warbird.
