She stepped into the wide atrium promenade and was stopped short. It was like being a time machine. The base had changed very little since she left and with a small smile; that no one should have seen; she made her way further along the promenade. Her heels clicked in the mostly empty room as most people hadn't arrived yet and suddenly she wished she wore quieter shoes. ''Great, just what I need... to draw more attention to myself... my hair is pink for christ sake!". She found a table in the corner of the room and sat away from the group.
