Rules
Standard Rules: The same roleplaying rules and formats as normal roleplay apply here. You must abide by these, as normal, at all times. • PTI/PTK: While advancement in the Mirror Universe is often through eliminating whoever holds the position above you, you cannot do this or maim another character without discussing it with them. Permission to Kill and/or Injure must have been obtained through a conversation between both roleplayers - you cannot kill off someone else’s character at random. • Character Count: For this event you can have up to four characters. These can be your normal four characters if you have all of your slots used, or it could comprise two normal characters and two NPCs if you would prefer them, for example. If you can’t think of what your character would be like in the mirror universe then you don’t have to use them - you can submit a generic NPC-style character who has been made for that setting instead. • Positions: As there are different crews attending the Peace Summit, this means you have the opportunity to claim a senior staff post for that crew. You can only have two senior staff positions across the board (these can technically be from the same faction, but we’d advise not claiming two within the same in order to let other people have the opportunity.) Claiming these will be on a first come, first serve basis. In order to claim one, please post in #mirror-au-character-help and you will be added to the lists in #setting-and-factions. • Discussion: As normal roleplay will be ongoing at the same time as the event, in order to keep things separate, once you have an approved Mirrorverse character then you will have access to the #mirror-rp-discussion and #mirror-rp-requests channels. Please keep any related discussion/RP requests for the Mirror AU to these channels.
Submission
In order to submit your Mirror character, please fill out all of the template below and post it in #mirror-au-submission. If you need to edit anything or the staff have any questions then they will ping you in #mirror-au-character-help and you will have the x_staff_edits_reqd reaction added. If the character is reacted to with the x_staff_yes then it means it has been approved and you can register the character in #tupperbox. Instead of doing | division at the end, this will consist of what faction the character is part of. Please use | TE for the @Terran Empire | GC for the @Galactic Commonwealth, | KCA for the @Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, or | FL for @Factionless.
Template
Name:Age:Pronouns:Species:Personality: This doesn’t have to be as detailed as that of the official character document - just the basics.Appearance: This doesn’t have to be as detailed as that of the official character document - just the basics, or you can just send your character picture. The same rules about art that isn't your own applies here.Faction: Please note that you don’t have to be a part of a faction, but it is far easier to roleplay if you do. If you opt to be Factionless then you would have to be at the Peace Summit of your own accord, for whatever personal reason that may be, and you also wouldn’t have the same existing relationships with other people that you would if you were part of a faction and serving on their ship or starbase.Division: These are the same divisions as normal: Command, Tactical, Science, Medical, Operations, Engineering, Security, or Civilian. If you’re going factionless and wouldn’t have an assigned division, then you can just write N/A.Rank: This is a requested rank - if it doesn't fit/is too high ranking/etc. you will be asked to edit it. • Position: Please ensure that you have claimed a senior staff position first if you are submitting as one. This can be done in #mirror-au-character-help. If you have a civilian and/or factionless character then you can use this for their occupation instead.Backstory: This doesn’t have to be as detailed as that of the official character document - just the key information of who the character is and what they’ve done.
