Xuan had already put the cup down on the table, but they found themself looking back over to make sure it was still there as they continued to listen to Telim speak. Going to Mol'Rihan on shore leave sounded nice, uncle Samekir, there was that name again. Xuan had resigned themself to not understand what was going on with the Cora or Hara house, it didn't matter too much, they were here to comfort Telim, not be some Romulan political scientist. They nodded in acknowledgement, looking back at Telim and then back up at the cup as if fearing it would grow legs and walk away or something.
"That sounds like a fun time, I was working on Mol'Rihan before I came here," Xuan responded with a fond smile as they thought about their family waiting for them back on their homeworld. Their mother worked, but their father was funemployed and travelled a lot. "Minecraft in the holodeck? That sounds fun, but also a little scary. It may be a little silly, but monsters in video games always make me jump," Xuan said with a soft chuckle. "Our interests can change as we get older, but that doesn't mean we won't still enjoy the things we love now," Xuan said, their eyes going back to the table for a split second, then a second time, then again. Xuan stood up a little so they could rearrange the cup and the non-functional PADD on the table. It wasn't needed, but being able to touch the objects somehow made them feel more at ease that they were actually there. "Do you prefer to play alone or with friends? I take it you have friends on this station who play?"
