Blegh was unsure of what to expect upon entering the holodeck program, but a complete makeover of her uniform and even her standard issue phaser was not it. She glanced down, startled to find that she was now wearing a plaid shirt and a handkerchief tied around her neck, along with a pair of jeans and a revolver in a holster on her side. The holodeck truly did feel like magic sometimes.

Immediately upon spawning in, Vovvi froze as the unfamiliar weight of a cape settled over her shoulders. Well. I guess we doin cowboys now. "Right," she huffed, glancing down at what was once her PADD and was now some kind of... bundled together journal. Sure. "I suppose we will identify the issue with the program and escort the civilians to safety?.. I believe the safety features are still active, but I do not trust it."

Vesta entered the holodeck and was put into the traditional clothing, dusty jeans and a masculine shirt alongside a cowboy hat. It was all very farm hand looking. She was here because of course she was, she is a specialist rescue officer and holodeck malfunctions fell under that jurisdiction. “Try to repair the malfunction, if that doesn’t work then shut it down, if that fails then evacuate the participants.” She signed remembering the rather flexible procedures she had been trained for in the academy, and using her own judgment to give input on what should be done here. “Procedure is all very, flexible, however.” She added, acknowledging that she was not the ranking officer here.

Blegh nodded when the Lieutenant spoke. "We should locate the participants first, I think," She suggested, glancing to Vovvi to see what the intel officer thought about the idea. "Perhaps one of them can give us a bit more information about what's going wrong,"

Ev watched the medical supplies in his hands turn positively ancient as he entered the holodeck, his case to a large leather bag. He shuddered to think what had become of his hypospray. At least he was very familiar with practicing medicine in crisis situations- was he pink? He was in a pink shirt now, instead of his uniform. There was a hat on his head, and he was wearing riding pants... At least he was still in practical clothes, he supposed.

"I'm sure they'll appreciate the reassurance that someone is here," Vovvi nodded, brows furrowing as she considered the proposed course of action. Her gaze drifted upwards, off to the side. "..I don't mind the change in uniform, though." She gave a little swish of her cape, admiring the embroidery. Hehe. (edited)

K’Graarra had no issue spawning into the holodeck, but it was a different story with the strange shawl on his shoulders, the shirt on his torso, and same for the jeans, chaps and boots on his body. These clothes were unfamiliar, but hid his Phase Pisto- …Oh. A leather holster had replaced his modern one and instead of a Model-2 Phaser, had a sort of pre-FTL, Kinetic Projectile Launcher with a revolving mechanism. He made sure to hide it under his shawl. “…I admit, i feel alien, in this dress. Strangely… free… no matter, for now we focus. I will secure that no threat approaches. (edited)

She appeared behind the group not long after. A slightly oversized hat, flowing blouse and a long, elegant skirt poofing onto her as she did. "I agree- Ow!-" She squeaked, as her hat tipped over and knocked her glasses down. The Trill stumbled a bit in her efforts to swipe them off the floor. "Fiddlesticks..." She mubbled, hastily fixing her glasses back onto her face. "Shall we split off then? I reckon half of us can find the others, and the other half can try and get a job on with this holodeck." "I will head up looking for the others, if you'd like to attempt to lead the repairs, Cdr. t'Rei'nak," Blegh offered, looking to the newer Security Lieutenant in the room with them. (edited)

"It does capture the feeling of the program well," Ev'kor acquiesced in response to Vovvi's comment about the costumes. He opened his shirt by two buttons and made to roll up his sleeves so he'd get a bit more room to move. "I'll help with the trapped folks."

Vida, admittedly, would not be of much use in a rescue effort. More than anything, she just wanted a chance to see this place for herself. She brought with her a few accessories that transformed as she entered the holodeck. Her died red hair was styled in a long, stringy braid, and her skirt holographically shifted into a blue coat over a cream-colored dress, with a wide-brimmed hat. "The holodeck is quite the fashion designer," She remarked. "Well," she said, putting on a southern affect as she pulled out an umbrella. "Y'all got your tickets?"

Vesta was gay enough herself to know when gay bullshit was going on, she stifled a laugh. “I’ll go help with the rescue team.” Her job was better fit to that than anything technical, despite being Ops.

Maggie arrived with the rescue crew in a nice blue western dress, with frills and ruffles and all of that nonsense. As well as a lovely nice wide brimmed hat with a flower in it. “I can help with the holodeck! Might be space ghosts or some nonsense.”

"Oh, I'll help with evacuation." Vida volunteered. "Can't do much heavy lifting in platform shoes, anyway."

K’Graarra sighed, adjusting the shawl to only cover his right arm, to hide the firearm better, and ‘fashion’ he supposed. “I’ll join the ones finding the missing people. That are not part of the holodeck.”

Or actually…. Bisexual bullshit. She may have been wrong there. “The teams should probably be split better than they are currently.” She signed, not wanting to piss anybody off, but taking not of the very skewed teams that were forming.

Clink-clink went the silver spurs, as someone made their way inside of the coach. Dressed in a blood-green dress shirt, dark riding pants and embroidered vest, the junior science officer appeared, peering at the newcomers from underneath his teeth and birdbone-adorned hat. Looking a bit too much like a handsome young bandit who came for your horses, there. "Oh, hello," Saren nodded to the familiar and unfamiliar faces, facial expression stuck between relief and apprehension. "You got here quick. Everyone is in the other wagons of the train. Mind your step, the program is spitting out all sort of peculiar glitches. Nothing too bad, though."

He’d look over, at the handsome devil who entered had just now, and turned around, expression neutral (for now), though slightly suspicious. He nods. “I hope you be correct, good fellow. And i hope none of the worse have afflicted the ones we are looking for.”

"Has anyone gotten hurt, yet? Or has it just been small stuff so far?" Ev'kor tried to swipe the hair from his face, nearly knocking his hat off. Unfortunately, it seemed to have a mind of its own, and simply reappeared in the position it had been in.

Deities, Suun needed a break. She’d heard tell about a holodeck adventure, but hadn’t exactly expected this. She’d even dressed up for the occasion, with a period-appropriate shirt and pants that made her feel straight out of an old western movie. But of course, as holodecks tended to do, shit was going sideways. “Apologies for my tardiness.” She sighed, approaching the group, “What exactly has been happening so far?”

Blegh may or may not have lit up when Suun-- Commander Zalan entered the coach. She hid a smile, shoving her hands in her pockets, definitely not trying to look cool or anything. "Not much," She informed the El-Aurian. "We're working on a plan," she explained.

“Alright. Thank you.” She shot Blegh a quick smile, strangely glad to see her fellow assistant commander here on this day. Although, she was sure she’d feel the same with anyone sharing her rank. Absolutely. “So, what do we know?”

“As far as we know, place is glitching out, but still relatively stable.” He sighs, looking out the window, just to make sure it all looked okay. Not that the Lieutenant knew how holodecks work. (edited)

Briefly he just balked at the... hat... thing, before clearing his throat and schooling his expression, "Nothing of sorts, no. The program was running fine, at first. Them some minor technical hiccups began appearing, then came the visual glitches. The attempts to pause it were fruitless. No one got affected, though. People are mostly just staying put, some of us wandered to try and find clues as to what went wrong. That's when you appeared."

“Ah. I took a few extra moments to explore the rest of the area, so I haven’t encountered any glitches quite yet.” She explained, “Although the program refusing to pause is concerning. Are we able to contact our crew members outside the holodeck?”

“Haven’t tried, ma’am. Most likely yes, however. I doubt that Holodecks cut off signal.” He turned back, stepping closer as he placed his hands on his collar, the shawl falling back as his arm raised.

"Right. Let's spread out, yes?" This car was getting cramped. "Get everyone up to date, try to fix any bugs, and we will regroup if things go wrong."

"Dining car is the current epicenter of activity, so... go there if you want, but it's noisy and stuffed," his eyes lingered on Vovvi. "... some are in the sleeper, some are trying to talk to the conductor. Pretty sure my uncle wandered off to the train's end."

“I’ll head over to the freight car. I believe a handful of people in yellow are that way, anyhow.” She hummed, “I’d like to reach out to engineers and operations officers not in the holodeck too, in case this issue can be solved from the outside.”

“Yes ma’am. Give the world, and we will follow.” He drops his arms again, fixing his new shawl. If he was going to look like this, he’d look great.

The first thing she noticed upon materializing in the holoprogram was how loud it was compared to modern trains, the second thing much to her displeasure was the fact that all her equipment and clothes had transformed into similar historical items. As the others began to talk she sorted through the bag she was now carrying. She wasn't at all certain what some of the items she carried had originally been, but they would have to do. "Does the train stop at any points during this program?"

"No stops, no," he replied to Evoras, offering her a slight tip of his hat as a greeting. Cute. "As far as I am aware, it's supposed to be going to it's destination indefinitely."

She wanted a hat... "I am not equipped for repairs, my expertise lies in cybersecurity, but I will aid best I can." Vovvi gave Ev'kor's sleeve a small tug. "You could see if the safety features have bugged out and hurt anyone, while we look around for answers," she offered. (edited)

From behind, Veldan placed his light brown leather hat on top of Vovvi's head. All things considered there were much worse situations to be in, and frankly he was almost enjoying himself. Leaning on the wall of the train car, Veldan took out a toothpick and placed it in his mouth. "I don't know how much help I'll be, though I have been taking basic online courses for some skills. First Aid especially." Hey, it was a good skill to have.

"Veldan!* Vovvi whirled around to face the sound of her nephew's voice. "You will not be helping. We don't know if the safety is bugged, and if something goes wrong..." She shook her head. "Too dangerous. How did you manage to wiggle yourself into another mess?—"

"Hey, I wasn't expecting this to happen!" Veldan protested, shrugging. "At least we got stuck on the chill mode, besides - what could realistically happen that hasn't happened already." The younger Rei'Nak took his hat back from Vovvi and dramatically placed it back on his own head. "We'll be fine..." A low guitar twang echoed from somewhere in the train.

"I might need someone with knowledge of computer systems by my side for that, ma'am," Ev'kor pointed out somewhat cheekily. "I have no clue how to assess whether or not the holodeck safeties are still functional."

She made a show of adjusting Veldan's hat, tucking his hair out of his eyes. "Straighten your collar. Stay out of trouble. If anything clips out of bounds, don't you dare touch it, understand? You'll be flying across the map before you can blink." (edited)

Tarsek had made himself present with the rest of the team. Although he probably would not have much to add when it came to fixing the problem, maybe he could help when it came to people organization. Several seniors, including the captain, had also been present when the program started glitching. Garcia was also there. But that was a footnote, surely, not one of the heavier reasons for him to come.

Sykes had been messing around with her PADD, trying to get it to connect to the holodeck’s native network and coming up empty, regardless of the codes she tried, and had thus not been very involved in the conversations around her. She did notice that little lilt in Ev’kor’s voice, though, and upon looking up from her PADD, she scanned the coach and then gave Vovvi a look. ayo

Veldan gave a faux salute to Vovvi and a sarcastic (with a genuine intent). "Yes Ma'am." He then went to have an idle look around the car.

"Let's do this—" Pointedly ignoring the Looks everyone was giving her, Vovvi released Veldan with one last squeeze of his cheeks, readjusting. "I will start at the back of the train and work my way up. The other team will start at the head and make their way back. We will take a headcount of the train's current occupants, and ensure everyone is here and not in the void. I will do my best to locate a panel." Ok team let's go!

“Let’s hop along, Cassidy!” Sykes holstered her PADD and quickly closed the distance between herself and Vovvi. She was gonna go in the other direction to have a CYSEC officer on both sides, but she wasn’t going to just let this opportunity go to waste. “A doctor…” She said with a teasing tone, before turning around and heading the other direction, “Alright y’all, anyone who’s comin’ with me best get goin’.”

Evoras did her best to copy Saren's gesture with the hat the holoprogram had bestowed upon her. An endless train ride didn't sound particularly enticing. She wondered if the landscape outside was modelled after a real landscape and if so if it was set to loop or generated something new to see no matter how long people were in this program. Though if things went her way they would not find out. Getting a headcount of the people on the train at least shouldn't be too difficult unlike everything that would come after, so she followed lieutenant Sykes to the front of the train.

"Well..." with most of the people away, Saren found himself at a lack of a task. He decided to just... stay put, for now. Perhaps stare out of the window for a bit, in case something new will pop up.

There wasn't much to look at besides rolling hills and canyon. The occasional cactus, or vulture. Vultures. Lots of vultures, actually...

"Oh, hey, my favorite bird," he noted idly to whoever was nearby. "One that should not be accumulating in such large quantities..." Saren decided to open the window and poke his head out - to maybe try and look ahead, in the direction to which the train was going...

The tracks stretched on without any sign of an end. Entity spawning issue, probably.

Hm. Well. Anything behind them?..

Horses!

Veldan had been sitting in the corner with the simulated occupants, fully playing pretend when Saren opened the window. Spotting the Vultures outside, Veldan walked over to where Saren was poking his head out. “Is that a good idea? This thing is going pretty fast.”

Paco had found his way to freeing enough time so that he could have today, an opportunity to not only experience life in the wild west, but also admire the trains of the era! And maybe play a round of poker or two when they get to a stop, who knows. Paco was by a window seat, in his bowler hat and suit vest. He had an antique camera of the period with him, but its probably better suited for still shots instead of anything from a moving train. "Wonder when the next stop is?" Paco asked himself out loud as he looked at the tracks behind them

The occasional wild horse, to be clear. Either loose from their riders or just wandering...

Any horses that are saddled up with a person on them?

Oh my god-- "Horses!" he uttered out, awfully close to an actual exclamation, absolutely deaf to any concerns Veldan just brought up to him. Saren seemingly just remembered the presence of the other Romulan, as he sat back and put his hat on. "Sorry, uh-- there are horses out there. Wild ones, perhaps. I wonder what breed they are, if any..."

”Wait actually??” Mirroring Saren’s previous movements, Veldan took his own hat off and stuck his head out the window, looking towards the rear.

Just one. A small, dark shape against the horizon, head low to let that shadow of their hat shield their face from the sun.

"Dang. That guy looks cool!" Paco said as be squinted at the sight. "Must be a rancher gathering their horses."

"... The who?" And now he was back at the window, peering out of it right behind Veldan.

”Would a rancher not lead the horses away from train as soon as they can…” Veldan recalled that the stablehands on the Rei’Nak estate always made a point to keep the rorses from loud noises, and a train would certainly count towards that…

"..." what the fuck, man. "I don't think so, no... we should go warn the others, fast."

"That person over there. Against the horizon." Paco pointed out. "Oh look! a whole bunch of cowboys!" Paco said with an initial optimism because it was cool seeing a wild west scene in the wild west .... But then he remembered, they were in a train "...Oh prophets they might be coming to rob the train."

”Fvadt!” Well, surely it would be better for everyone to go and warn the separate cars. “I can head up to the conductor’s car to warn them, a couple of Intel officers have gone that way since we started.”

While trying to get to the conductor car, he and Allan arrived in the middle of this concerning discussion. He gave everyone a wave. "Paco, Saren. What's this about warning people?"

"We may be about to get boarded and robbed." Paco answered as he pointed out the group of possibly hostile possie/possy/(????) of cowboys in the distance "Train heists were common in this era."

Trying not to think too much about how utterly fucking ridiculous this whole situation was, with the outfits and the setting and the glitches and the everything, Saren pointed at the window, "There are literal bandits following our train."

And so he walked into the next car with Mephistopheles on their way to the conductor car, and overheard maybe just the last few things of what were being said by the people in the car, and, more clearly, Paco was pointing out the window while speaking. He squinted and walked up to the group, looking out the window too, and then nodded. "Yeah, you uh- remember the uh, other option of the program? The one with the bandits and everything?" And not the fluffy cat companion, at that. "It was supposed to be, like, a dangerous little adventure and all, but with the holodeck glitching..." He made a little bit of a grimace.

A thud on the roof. Then another, and another.

And he's up. He patted himself down in the hopes of suddenly discovering just any sort of weapon on his person...

Shit! Veldan was a civilian, he didn’t know how to shoot, and he barely knew how to fight. Suddenly the expression on his face was far from matching the badassness of his outfit. “Where should I be right now?”

"Well look at that..." Maya said to herself as she walked in to the car and watched one of them get on the roof. "We're in the danger venture now boy's and gals!" she said as she drew a pistol. A sheriffs gotta be armed, right?* "Find cover and try block the entrance to the conductor! We don't know if safety's are on or not." "Listen 'ere scumbags! This 'ere be a warnin! get off this here goddamn train! Or I swear to Arthur Morgan ghost the only silver you yeller bellied snakes are gonna see is the tip of my bullet!" Maya yelled at the ceiling. Probably not the best idea to make a warning shot and waste a shot or hurt someone else

“Get down and take over, what’s the plan with uh, fighting these guys?” She said with a glance towards Maya. “Lieutenant Commander what the ever living fuck!” She whisper shouted.

... Is that a fucking-- "Not now, officer," he snapped at Maya, because, really? while checking just how the fuck did this ancient weapon he just fished out of his holster... well, work.

"Ah see that's certainly far from ideal. There's banditry afoot." Shane said with a booming, truly awful accent as he entered the cabin after Allan and Mo. He was still insistent on keeping the Marshal act up, it was still his one day off! Shane produced a holo revolver soon after Maya. "Steady on there cowpokes no need to start a panic now is there. These yeller bellied nobodies will be specs in the dust when we're threw with em!"

She glanced at Shane with a sigh. “I’m going to jump off this train.” She mumbled as she pulled a revolver out of her dress. “Okay, bullets, how do those work?”

Well, them not being in immediate danger was looking less likely. He appreciated that Saren had said literal bandits, though. As delightful as it would be for a crowd of cats to attack them, he suspected that was not the case. "You'd best keep yourself safe and not draw attention," he said to Veldan. "Saren, can you go and warn people? It needs to be done calmly, so they don't panic. Or anyone else who thinks they can keep their cool." It would be better if all the civilians had a clear head, so they could more easily follow instructions when necessary. (edited)

Oh, crazy, he all of a sudden had a very fashionable embroidered holster! With a whole fucking gun inside! Crazy if true. Because it was. "Yeah, Maya, let's - yeah, let's not panic out of our minds, okay?" He said, very much in agreement with Saren and Shane. The two S's, as opposed to the two - no, 3 M's.

"Maya played red dead redemption." That's the only context Paco was giving to Maggie on this as he hunkered down, also searching for something he can use to defend himself.

Veldan crouched down by Saren and similarly fished around, pulling out a near-identical revolver. Looking at it over and over again, he came to a couple of conclusions. “I’m pretty sure these are projectile weapons, that’s about as much as I can gather from it…”

"I can - go up to the conductor car like we were going to before..? Check it out, see if there's any control panels up there, like we said," he gave a shrug, looked up out of habit of looking at wherever noise was coming from, and then moved that way.

"On it," he nodded to Mo as he began to pass them by, trying not to think too hard about the kid also Having A Gun. "Veldan, I can try to lead you somewhere safe. Miss Rei'nak is here..."

The door at the back of the coach slid open, and there was a scuffle— an arm, blindly reaching, seizing Veldan by his bandana and yanking him towards it in the instant before the small group boarded. "Nobody move," they said flatly, holding a revolver to the top of his head, holding him like he was a naughty dog on a leash. The rest of their cronies trained shotguns on the group. *Bit overkill, no?

"Weapons on the ground. Empty your pockets, and nobody gets hurt," they drawled, scanning over everyone. "Let's just make this easy, yeah?.."

Maggie dropped her gun quickly (I mean, she didn’t even really know what a bullet was!) and held her hands up softly. “Erm! Yeah that sounds great.”

"What, taking upon someone your own size was too scary?" Saren sneered, royally pissed at the child endangerment currently going on in front of him, Veldan's actual age be damned. He put his gun down on the ground, before turning his pockets inside out.

It took a few minutes before the Vulcan made sense of the clothing and accessories the program had bestowed upon him. Boots and a hat, belts, a vest, a lot of rugged leather all around. Not at all what he was used to. And what a sight the Vulcan surely was like that. He had noticed on his belt there had been two holsters, along with two pistols. The only thing reminiscing of his previous occupation was a red sheriff-like star on the place where his badge would be. He carefully undid the holding and lowered himself to place the pistols on the ground, one on each side. He stood up again. “There is no need for violence. Please, let him go.” With the program glitching, who knew how safe this could be or what kind of actions these holograms would take.

"I said, empty your fucking pockets!" came the snarled reply, paired with a jerk of Veldan's body towards them. "I'll send his brains flying, you hear me?"

He didn't have any weapons... Or did he? To his surprise, he had a revolver on his belt! Who put that there? It did look stylish, though. Shame he had to put it on the ground. Nothing much in his pockets as he turned them out, either. "Everyone, do what he says. Our money isn't worth any of our lives." It also wasn't worth escalating the situation just to keep fake money they wouldn't need at all once they left.

Veldan had suddenly become acutely aware over how a revolver worked, and was silently beginning to hyperventilate a little.

“Does my dress even have any pockets? I swear, I’m going to have words with whoever was making women’s outfits in this time.” She said as she looked around for pockets in her dress. “Nope, so I don’t have any money on me.”

"Hows 'bout.... no." Maya flatly refused in a westernly drawl as she kept her weapon firmly right where it is as she scanned the room herself and her other hand raised, open, and empty. How many bandits are currently here? Did any tricorder scans prior to all this gave any hint if safety controls were on or not? On the latter front, most likely all that information was inconclusive and best assume if they pull the trigger, they die. " 'fore I drop shit, you let the young man go and I take his place first so you play with someone your own size. Should have a lot more on me than whatever his allowance is. Prolly get a bit more outta ransom as well in the next stop." 'Wherever that is', she thought to herself. Most likely they were gonna keep him around after everyone else disarms anyway as a bargaining chip, so might as well try for a trade off so its her grave. "We're already cooperatin', might as well make it fair."

At least six of them, five wielding shotguns. Inconclusive on the safety features. "I don't think you're in a place to make demands, little missy," they laughed, cruel and cold. "I'm not gonna ask a third time."

He gave Maya a hard stare. Perhaps she wasn't aware of the situation. "That was an order, Lieutenant. Remember: the safeties may be off. No bravado is worth this risk."

"I'm a man." She plainly responded to the bandit immediately after that. "But alright fine. Was worth the shot." she calmly said, aware of the situation as part of the rescue crew, as she finally disarmed and dropped her revolver to the ground and holsters on the aisle seat before she checked and emptied her pockets. In the end she had her hands raised with everyone else.

Everything stopped. Textures unloaded rapidly, flickering, before an ERROR message flashed across the holodeck, allowing everyone a glimpse of their fellow holo-goers, before everything reloaded. Reset.

Vara spawned in here now, and she sighed noticing that she was elsewhere. “The one time I decide to go a social event in my free time.” She muttered.

"Where the blazes am I? Wait, this is the coach." He'd been in here earlier, when the sim was running smoothly. "Anyone seen any control panels or such things?" Said like thangs.

"I- WHOA!" Vida blinked. Somehow she'd materialized right where she started. It caused a jolt within her stomach, but she slowly regained her bearings. She heard Serin ask a question, and looked about the train's wooden walls. "Er... no, not particularly."

"We're entering bandit country," a miscellaneous NPC flickering in and out of existence reported. "Please do your best to keep th— the conductor and the freight car safe!"

"Well, this is exciting! Ain't never been in a shootout before!" Was his southern drawl getting better or worse over time? He couldn't tell. "Hey, folks, should we set up a trap?"

Delevhas suddenly appeared in the coach too. He blinked in confusion, and looked around. "I- Where am I-? Is this another holodeck malfunction-?" He then turned to everyone else. "My apologies, I don't think I recognise any of you...*

Behold! Tiny magician. "What kinda trap?"

"Set up some tables to hide behind like we're in that game Calling Fruity, and then aim our guns at 'em when they're here?" He replied, making finger guns. "Or something more inventive. I don't even know if we have tables." (edited)

Knock-knock, lovelies. The door was unceremoniously kicked open, as the man clad in black and blood-green pushed his way into the car, and took a shot at Serin.

Ngozi entered the room with a florish and somewhat selfishly hid behind Saren, only peaking out to take a shoot. She shot at the first person she saw, Maggie. It was a direct hit, the hybrid would lose two lives. "Maybe I should have been a tactical officer!" She said with a smile. (edited)

"What the hell, man!" Maggie retorted, firing off one in kind. "You got paint all over my dress, jerk!!"

Delevhas panicked as the bandits entered the car. He quickly shoved his hand into his pocket where he was sure he had a gun before, and upon finding it, took a quick shot at Saren.

"Lucky you won't need to worry about more paint if everyone makes this easy for us. C'mere!" Maya said as she attempted to take Maggie hostage

"Buzz off!" they spat, all but kicking her off of them. Immediately they winced, though. "Sorry! You okay?"

"Oof!" Maya yelled as she was kicked off. "Yeah all good, no worries... now you c'mere!" Maya said with a thumbs up before reaching over to Delevhas to do the hostage thing again

The man sputtered and dipped, finding some cover behind the seats, but not before getting grazed on his shoulder with the powdery paint. He shook his head then, trying to get at least some of his own shot off of his face, before poking out to return the shot right back at Delevhas.

He dove behind a bench before Serin's shot could hit him, and, as though he were the fastest draw in the West, quickly took out his revolver and shot back!

Ngozi could only hope her next shot would be just as lucky as her first. She took a shot at Serin.

"Oh, shit!" Vida flopped to the ground before she fumbled to grab her pistol. She aimed at Ngozi, pulling a rug up in a feeble attempt to shield herself.

ok, enough trying to grapple people only to fail again. Time for some 6 shooter sharp shootin. "Any one of you lily-livered, bow-legged varmints care to slap leather with me?! In case any of ya get any idears, ya better know who yer dealin' with!" Maya declared as loud as she could in her best western accent as she took aim and fired at Vida

"Holy-!!" Vida lunged behind a chair, crinkling her body into a pretzel to hide behind it. Luckily, she managed to narrowly avoid a paint splatter on her. She quickly snapped a hand out from behind her shelter to snatch her hat when it fell off her head. "Hey! These clothes wouldn't be cheap if they were real, you know!"

Delevhas ducked as he heard Saren's bullet fly past him, and narrowly miss. He took another shot, this time aiming at the loudest person in the room - Maya.

He was a melee guy, not a gun guy! This time he tried to take better aim, and shot at Vida.

Ok, third time's the charm. She took anouther shot at Serin.

"Shoot!" Vida barked as she felt a smack in her back. She jumped and crawled behind a table instead. Dang. She needed to get her bearings...

After being teleported yet again to another strange ambient, Tarsek had little time to prepare for the arrival of the bandits. He wondered if it was part of the simulation or if his colleagues had indeed decided to take part on their newly assigned roles. Little time to think though, or to make sense of it. He took one of his revolvers and aimed at Saren.

Maggie was a fit of laughter from their poor hiding place, peeking up just enough to fire off at Maya.

"Woe! Woe is me! I've been shot! I'm bleeding everywhere! Just kidding, it's only paint. Get blasted!" He returned fire at Ngozi!

"AGH! That fuckin stings!" Maya shouted briefly in pain, they may be fake, but it still packs quite a punch. Then Maya holstered her revolver infavor of the shot gun, cocking it with one hand. "Lets see how this would feel!" And so she fired a shot at Delevhas.

Vida glanced from the side of the table. Okay. The engineer lady with the short hair seemed to be hit already. Maybe she could knock her out. Vida daintily extended an arm and fired at Maya.

"I should have been a tactical officer!" Ngozi laughed as the bullet whizzed by her. She was three for three so far and absolutely loving it. She fired her next shot at Vida.

"Fuck" Maya fell backwards at the feeling of another shot on her. Time to return fire to Vida again whilst on the ground!

"What great betrayal!" he called out to Tarsek, though there was clearly laughter in his tone. He then proceeded to shoot the Vulcan right back.

"OOH! OOH!" Vida yelped as the officers shot at her. She whizzed under a rug, narrowly able to dodge the paint.

"This is harder than I thought... how does Paco do this?" Maya asked herself as she trained her sights on Vida again

Having missed Ngozi, he decided to focus fire on Saren. Sorry, horse man, the wizard man's out to getcha. He made his shot from behind the cover of the bench... CRITICAL HIT!

Maya's bullet shot past Delevhas again. Delevhas, suddenly becoming emboldened by his success, decided to take another shot at Maya.

”You were the most exposed target after taking your shot, my attack was only logical.” Tarsek was quick enough so that the pellet passed him through and splashed on the car wall. He shot at him again, taking advantage of the same previous mistake.

Ok, she got a little cocky there. She missed her last shot. She decided to make a break for the conductor car.

Vida squawked as a bullet from Maya splatted the back of her head. Two lives down! She needed a miracle. She wildly aimed and shot for Maya again.

"HA! missed me this time!" She shoted to Delevhas as she moved to hunker down behind a seat

Do not question why this Vulcan diplomat was so good at shooting guns. Just ball on.

The last bullet hit Saren square in his chest. Bullseye! The man then wobbled from behind the seat. With a grin and a two-fingered salute, clutching at his "wound", Saren began to fall back-- only to disappear with a poof of paint.

She shot at the hinges and... missed! How awful! She grimaced, that was bad, and she only had one bullet left. She was unsure what to do now, not ready to waste her last bullet on the door.

Maggie fired off at Maya again. Noisy!

"Saren! NOOOOOOO!!" She said before she ducked down from Vida and Maggie's shots. "Missed! Time to meet your dress maker girl!" She said as she quickly popped up and fired a shot at Vida

They made a point of blowing a raspberry at Maya.

Maya blew a raspberry back at Maggie

Damn! Vida hissed at the shot. Jeez! This bandit wouldn't quit. "Think you're hot stuff, huh?" Vida whipped out her pistol and pointed it at Maya again.

She took a deep breath and aimed for the hinges again. Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease.

The gunshot rang through the air, the door hanging limply by one hinge. And open.

Fuck—! "Guys, the conductor's car!" Maggie shouted. Ngozi was harmless, there were no bullets left, but..!! "Stop them!" Someone else could still break in! Better whittle down Maya's last few lives. If their gun cooperated.

Maya whipped her head back after feeling the sheer force of that earlier shot before that hit her forehead, which was quite a big target with her hair parted or hidden under the hat, before this one. "Hotter than you, probably." cocks shot gun, then kaboom returning fire to Vida

Vida tried to shoot at Maya, failing at the last second.

And as she did, Serin blasted her right into jail!

"... GG good game." Maya casually said with a thumbs up as Vida poofed to paint

Saren was gone but the rest of the bandits were not. Tarsek took his next aim and fired against Maya, but soon realizing he might need to retreat. There were too many of them.

"Yes!" Wait. That was his teammate! "No! I've erred greatly. I'm nothing more than a criminal now. The guilt... It's simply too much for my poor heart. Goodbye!" Saying that, he shot himself in the head with his last bullet and lay down on the floor. "This is the last breath of Holden A. Lasso... Ah, fuck, I got paint in my hair."

"Serin!" Maggie shouted dramatically, gasping in horror. "Noooo....!!!"

Maya patted herself to see if she was still alive since there were two shots against her that probably missed "I LIIIIVVVEEE!" She proclaimed "GG"

They spluttered, wiping pink paint off of their face. "Son of a bitch..!!"

"You- you know, you can't say GG before the game ends, right? That's just rude," he said with a laugh, and then took a shot at Maya. It missed, though. Pretty much hit the ceiling instead. Probably had to work on his aim, honestly.

Closer to the dinning car end of the coach car, Tarsek observed all the failed attempts at getting maya. How statistically possible was for them all to miss her? His gun was ready and he fired.

"Really? My bad then." Maya casually said to Allan whilst she stood in the middle without any cover or obstruction as the two shots whizzed by her before she turned over to Tarsek. "I'm Inevitable." Maya points her gun at Tarsek. Click Click, shits empty. "Damn."

Delevhas wasn't one to care for statistics. He took ove very long step towards Maya and shot at her again, stretching out his arm as far as possible to close the distance between her and his gun.

Maya was just about to point and shoot, well just pull the trigger of an empty gun since the motions looked badass enough, at Allan when she felt another shot. She pressed her hand on her chest where she felt it and briefly looked at the [Insert color here] on her palm before she looked towards Delevhas. "You're on mah list now, boi." *She dramatically said before she just shrugged. * "GG--" Orange paint splatters on the floor

"Wouldn't be my first time..." Delevhas grinned as he put one hand on his hips, and raised his gun-weilding hand up towards his face, kissing its barrel. Even in a shootout, he had to be dramatic.

"Well, I've died. Hope nobody minds if I mosey on up to the roof to see what's goin' on up there? Thanks." He left through one of the carriage doors and got climbing.

"I've never heard a dead person talk before..." Delevhas said out loud to himself, as he watched Serin leave.

"..." Maggie peered cautiously out from behind a bench. "Did we win?"

"I believe that I have won!" Delevhas declared, casually stealing the credit from everybody.

"Well." .... "I have one bullet left. So I'm gonna find somebody to shoot." Bye!

Likewise, Tarsek decided to move back in the train and aid others. To the dinnin car!

Delevhas shrugged, and followed after them both. He might as well make good use of this streak of luck he seemed to be on!

William stepped into the coach car, being the first of those in the conductor car group coming in. He carried his revolver in his right hand, but both of his hands at the moment were raised above him. "Don't shoot!" He instinctively said. "Anyone in here, cease fire! Me and the others - train security and bandits - we've got a plan. We're traveling to the freight car to see what this train is carrying and what we're all fighting over." William motioned towards the next car down, the dining car. "We're traveling through each car. Don't shoot at us along the way, and we won't shoot back, capiche?" He also motioned towards the group that was trailing behind him. "And if you're as... uh... inquisitive as the rest of us, feel free to tag along, yeah?"

Sak entered the coach car, and found no one in sight. "Uh, I think no one's here. Let's get everyone here first"

“Well, if no one’s in here…” She pointed at the door to the dining car, where the window showed the paint-covered chaos of the car, “…aw, hell.”

William nodded, smiling. "Ah, my nerves must've gotten to me." He then motioned for the rest of the group to come in. "Coach car is clear! Everyone, come on in - we'll move to the dining car in just a few moments!"

Suun nodded, stepping to the side and finding a half-empty bottle of whiskey. Would holodeck alcohol work? Maybe not an experiment for right now. Although looking at the next car, she thought she might have needed it.

“Sweet Jesus that’s a lotta paint,” Sykes said idly as she stared toward the dining car.

William looked around a little bit for himself, pursing his lips at all the paint spotches. "No kidding - and I don't even think that's the worst of it. I think a lot of the shots might've been coming from the dining car, so that might be where we could encounter trouble." William made his way to the end of the coach car end, flicking the door open, motioned for everyone to come along. Seeing that Giles was also coming he nodded to everyone. "Alright, next car - same plan. Let's go." With that, William entered the dining car.

Sykes nearly held her breath when they moved into the dining car. She wasn’t too sure how well yelling ‘truce’ was gonna go with the rest of her team.

"Wait for me—!" chimed a voice behind them as Vovvi slipped into place, now unsuspiciously covered in paint.

Tavek followed with Sykes, turning once he heard a new voice- wait, that was the girl who’d climbed up to the roof with the other guys! Well.. she must be a very good shot if she was still alive. Props to her.

He wandered through the empty carriage, whistling a cowboy tune.
