Star Trek: Starbase 777 - etd-engineering

A quiet sort of nostalgia, as Five made her way through to Engineering. It wasn't met with the gut-twisting dread that it would've had a while ago. No, it was more quiet and calm now. Comforting, almost... She'd need what comfort she could get before they landed.

Hey, it's him! Your boy, and he's not practically zombified anymore! Cronos took a quick peek around the eventide's main engineering bay, familiarising himself with all the systems onboard, thankfully he was very experienced with starship maintenance so a small ship like the eventide was nothing compared to his past postings.

Five perked up at the sight of someone else, currently in the process of tying her hair back. Actually, she didn't recognize this person... "I think we might be landing soon," she said semi-cheerfully, in a chipper mood this morning.

"That's good to hear... Haven't been planet-side in a long while. I think it's been over a year at least. I'm excited to get out and stretch my legs a little." He said with a faint smile. "I'm Tivop by the way, but most people just call me Ti. Also, don't mind the rank pips. I'm just a regular officer like you guys now... Don't do much commanding anymore."

"Ah!" Truthfully, Five hadn't even looked at the rank pips, but Tivop's mention caused her gaze to stray. She tipped her head to the side in polite curiosity, though said nothing on the matter. "Five of Eight, I'm the ACOO on the station. Truth be told, I'm nervous, but hoping for the best. As...good as it can be, anyway."

"There's our cue..." Five glanced outwards to the door, then back to Tivop. "If you're coming along, that is!" Off we goooo.

"You bet, I am! Five of Eight, I'll try and remember that." and with that he followed Five out of the engineering bay.
