Who you gonna call? Federation?" it stated, accentuated by his shrug. A joke, perhaps. "You will get food soon. After you eat and have a short rest, I will ask you some questions."

We've already established that you are not a research team," he angled his head in a slow nod as the device spoke, giving life to it's monotone. "Just a reminder. Anyone has any allergies?"

Soup with local vegetables and herbs, piece of bread, water." he recounted. "Nothing much, but we get what we can."

Am I allowed to ask you some questions while you eat, or should I wait until you are done?" he inquired, moving his head again.

You don't seem like a particularly good member of the Tal Shiar either," was the response. "Despite letting one drag you around on a death hike."

Since no objections followed... Question one: Who are you?" the voice asked, as the man held the device out to be heard better. "Your utilities were identified as original Federation, and none of you bear marks of masking kits or DNA alteration. None of that we know, at least."

You don't have to, of course, though it is certainly not helping your case," the device noted. "For all we know, these items could've been acquired through smuggling, which happens on this colony plenty, or by killing."

If I had a choice, I would not wear that uniform," the device stated, the man's grip on it tightening just ever so slightly until it quietly creaked. His lungs puffed out a slightly distressed sound. "But... it has it's perks - the flock thinks you are one of them. What I am hearing is that you want transparency. I can offer that. But I will need transparency from you, too. Because believe it or not, you are not the losing side here."

If that will work, it will work. Should I take off my mask too? Or personal boundaries can stay personal?" he made a tutting noise with his tongue, indicating the slight sass.

I can see the way you people look at it, you know. But, thank you." he gently nodded. "Then, let's try again - who are you?"

It can be both. Hides my identity and treatment from people like Anga, at the same time," came a simple, brutal reply.

...Khellian, eh," the echo of Ev'kor's House name was followed by another breathless chuckle. "I might've heard of you, then."
He clicked the device off, before pulling at the lower part of his mask - not revealing his face fully, but uncovering his scarred mouth enough to speak without his raspy voice being muffled: "Temar tr'Khier, also known as "Boar", saboteur of the Hhiudlir Caernu resistance cell, currently on the mission to eliminate a Tal Shiar hideout." It is," as a reply.

Indeed," the man nodded. "The Republic will need to look into potential sabotage. Which brings me to my next question - what would you do now? Because we intend to drive them out. You could be sent back home to... wherever you are from. Station, or ship." (edited)

...Vigil leads this mission. You would need to discuss this with her, if your team ends up on this page. But I will go and delegate the current findings to her and Stitches, first."

Use this time to discuss."
And with that, the man was gone again, though this time, the atmosphere he left behind surely felt better.
