"Captain Mo from Commander Lhai'Ivek, what is the status of station operations? I am in the Jeffreis tubes, there could be someone following me, but no one is immediately behind me."

"Bit of panic in 'ere but there's no immediate danger, if that's what you mean?"

"Umali to Security... uhhhh... reporting an intruder alert. probably hostile romulan officers in Quarters Corridor.... but they're with T'Shai so I'm not sure if this is a regular thing... uhhhhhh... yeh yeah. im staying locked in here. in my quarters. the best place. cos its locked. and no one can break into a locked door. mhm. send someone. pls. hehe..."

[To station ops] "Heyyy sir, anything for us to know down here in engineering right now?"

"Intruders using Romulan ranks have disabled basically everything and you guys are the only ones who can turn it all back. We're going to be 'doing maintenance' for 999+ years, so lock the doors and see if you can do the usual failsafes."

"Commander Garcia, This is Commander Jenaha Sul. Chief of Security. Myself and the rest of Senior Staff are tied up in Station OPS. The Tal'Shiarhave taken Commanders V’hgai and Lawson. How're you holding up in Engineering?"

“Two birds with one stone. We were held hostage, but the Tal’Shiar have left our division. Chief Allen has been taken, along with several other officers. I have assumed command for the time being. Is there any immediate problem we can tackle from here?”

"Aside from sending someone to untie us. Try to track down those Tal'shiar ships if you're able, we need to know where their headed with our colleagues."

”This is Garcia to Station-Ops. I have urgent matters to discuss, please come in!”

”I am fine. I have received a request of communication from an unknown source. They have identified themselves as “common enemies” of the Tal Shiar. I believe them to be Remans, but I am not sure. They wish to aid us in restoring our systems and fighting back. The person in immediate contact has identified as Whisper.”

"Keep your guard up, but we do need all the help we can get at the moment."

”Sir, is that permission to work with them and give them access to our systems?”

"Yes. I doubt they're Shiar. They don't need any more access to our systems than they already have." (edited)

”Garcia to station-ops. We have mapped out a plan to bring the systems back online. We are starting with our shields and our new friends are performing a sensor scan in the area to see if any vessels are present. As soon as we start coming back online or have news from the scans I shall contact again.”

“Intel hub to ops. Anything we can do to help?”

"Garcia, that's good news. Do whatever you need to do as fast as possible. I want full control over the station again."

"Brilliant work back there, return distro to default and prep for any aft damage, they are on our tail but not for long."

"Hah! Okay- I mean- yes, Lieutenant--!"

”Lt. Cdr. Garcia to bridge, what happened? Systems indicate our shields came down! I am trying to figure it out!”

“Engineering, status?”

”Well as I said, shields down! Trying to find the cause. Give me a sec!”

”Garcia to bridge, our shields were overloaded! Some sort of power diversion beyond what they could take of unknown source. I believe we can get them back, but if we don’t find out what or who caused it, they could fail again!”

”This is Garcia to command hub. We have news! We were able to isolate the code used to tamper with our shields. I will be sending the report with our findings and how exactly the Tal Shiar altered their functioning. We will commence a full purge and with that I believe the Eventide’s shields will be out of their influence.” “Also, I managed to recover the dates, time and ids of the officers who supposedly would have inserted the code. They did it bit by bit during maintenance checks. Might be a good idea to go chat with them… but I’ll leave that to the experts!”

"Sul to Garcia. Nice, keep up the good work! We were able to access surveillance logs up here in the command hub. We have names of the people who were responsible for this and where they managed to slip through our systems. Keep hold on that talking to them bit, I think the Capt and gang are checking in on the Senators."

"Commander Sul to the Captain. How's your meeting with the Senators?"

"Well. We're narrowing down the suspects. Any leads on your end?"

"We've been compromised for probably more than half a year.... 6 months, but it could be more. And this is across all divisions. As your Security Chief, I'm recommending a emergency full lockdown of the station and sending an advisory for all ships to stay outside transporter range from 777 until we can get a handle on things."

"Hmmm. That might conflict with some things. One sec."

"Standing by."

"Commander Sul to Garcia. Just out of curiosity, you mentioned you found IDs of officers yeah? How many of them were Engineering Officers? Handling a lot of checks in our end at the moment. How's your day?"

”Garcia to Sul, I should have sent the file, but I understand it might have gotten a bit lost with everything going on there. Re-transferring to make sure you get it. Also I had a lasagna, which means the day is about 0.94% less shitty than it was before. And you?”

"Will check it out in a bit. Just broke the news about the all divisions being "infected" if you will for half the year to the Captain. I got pretty pissed off when I found out. Eating chocolate cake and choccy pudding right now, its the only thing that helps.... dang Lasagna also sounds good though laughs" (edited)

"I'm down for that, let's hammer something out when this is over. Anyways, I recommended a lockdown and station wide quarantine to the Captain. Like, 2020's Corona Lockdown basically. Stand by for that if we get the green light."

"Captain Mo to Commander Sul. We're going ahead with the lockdown, though we may need to make an exception at least once. Proceed with that knowledge in mind."
