In about 40 minutes we go cubing! So you have until then to get your character into the transporter room, have a little conversation, and prepare for the ~~worst~~ mission!

also, i think i'll be going for another hour or so, then it will be around 11pm for me. we got a lot done today, but the first look at the drone will have to wait until tomorrow i think >:) just for clarity's sake, as far as i can tell the groups currently are 1. essen, seiyya, mavna, maggie, serin, hal 2. aoife, vara'l, paco, vesta, lekraan, saeihr, yaveru 3. senang, saren, t'she, fives, ato please feel free to share in rp discussion if im missing anything! this is a ten day event. and i PROMISE (from the depths of my heart) that things will be alright in the end. BUT. ten days means that it's not gonna be solved today. and sometimes, you have to retreat and regroup to figure out how to attack a problem more constructively. that is not failure.

Also, anyone is allowed to use however many characters to use in the command office. I won't be monitoring this toooooo closely, except to actually figure out what the plan is going to be, and to help people along when someone scans something or the like. If you feel like I'm not paying enough attention to it, feel free to ping me in #rp-discussion , because I know for a fact the coming week I'm going to be focussing on tormenting our lovely away team.

@Event Ping sorry im late im being allergic and lamenting about it. for the rescue mission: you are allowed TWO characters, only ONE of which is allowed to go onto the cube. this is IRRESPECTIVE of whether or not you have someone on the cube already. you may decide for yourself how many characters you can handle, but the maximum total is THREE get onto eventide, everyone! @Event Ping let's get moving soon everyone! pinging because people should get together and get a concrete plan of action going

@Event Ping you have about half an hour more to get the concrete plan together before i start moving things along. the current plan: 1. go to the vinculum to disengage all drones from controlling the borg cube or communicating with each other, which would confuse the drones, take shields down, and reestablish contact with eventide 2. stun all drones you come across, don't kill them 3. use the runabout's transporters in case emergency extraction is needed 4. any wounded will stay behind in the hangar bay, alongside members of the original away team that are too exhausted, emotionally compromised, or otherwise volunteer to stay behind. as soon as it's decided the group starts moving, you can post them into #assimilation-chambers , where the last team left off. from there it's about 2km to the vinculum. @naxisafact @Mari @Max , you are free to torment the away team as you see fit as soon as theyre out of the hangar bay, just remember the big idea is to get everyone home this weekend :) (edited)

the fight is over (for now) meaning you can talk amongst yourselves, but i will be pausing event progression until tomorrow!

@Event Ping let's get going, everyone :) if there's still something you all want to investigate in the drone workshop, now is the time, but if not, let's get a move on! we should be able to finish the event today, i think

and thats a wrap for the narrative part! you all get [checks watch] like 24hr hours to angst it up at will together on eventide, two extra channels have been added for this purpose, #etd-medbay and #etd-mess-hall ! thank fern and sunny for that one :D once the event is officially over, you get timeskipped back to 777, where it will be tuesday, and everyone will be well enough to wake up (and the borg drones will be liberated with the help of everyone the entire sector's medical division will have to spare).
