Star Trek: Starbase 777 - life-support-control

Standing to one side of the life support control room, of which was the room to the right, of Away Team Two's beam-in site, was another guard, stood leaning against the wall with their arms crossed.

She stood, waiting for instructions.

She entered with her phaser pointed at the guard, her eyes narrowed as she suggested, “One chance to place your weapon down or you will be restrained.”

Elwyn entered behind the Commander and raised her phaser at the guard.

The guard looked over as the door opened and their eyes widened when they saw phasers pointed at them, their hand flinching as if they wanted to reach for their weapon but didn't. "Okay, okay, chill out! I don't wanna get shot!" They said as they slowly raised their hands. "I don't get paid enough for that shit! Wait, actually I don't get paid at all..." It was as this guard was seemingly surrendering that an alarm suddenly went off and red lights started flashing. "Intruders in the administration section." A loud computerised voice stated, before immediately repeating itself.

[Comms] "Well, that isn't good."

“At the very least it brings less attention to us… but we need to be-careful now.”

"Ah, so this is going great." They smiled grimly before drawing their own phaser, keeping their medical kit easily accessible in case it was needed.

She drew her phaser, glaring at the man.

Seeing that the others were at her back with phasers pointed, she stepped forward before taking the one off the guard, kicking it to the floor before putting hers back down on her hip. She reached for their hands and zip tied them as well behind their back (and not in the way that you can easily remove them). Looking to the Lieutenant, she nodded, “Tag them and place them with their friend. I’m going to set up the device now, then we’ll head out.”

Bright burst in and looked over at the others, breathing heavily as he tried calming down from the sudden alarms and the fact they could've been caught. Again. It would only be a few seconds before he told his fear to just get the fuck off before he turned to the others, green eyes filled with determination and a considerable amount of panic. "Uh... Guys? We got company outside!!"

Elias, who had quickly strode over and tagged the guard, crouching, now stood up and turned around, eyes wide. "More?"

[Comms] "Just stay in there and don't make any noise and they might go by. I think they're occupied with team one's actions."

The guard cooperated. Not because they wanted to surrender, but because they didn't feel like getting shot today.

She rubbed the bridge of her nose before turning to the medical officer, “Lieutenant. What’s the symptoms of an stressor and how would this not benefit this situation right now.” She clearly asked the question as she stared at the two freaking out ensigns before going back to her work of setting up the device, “It’s not ideal to have an alarm going off but can everyone take three deep breaths before stressing out and making knee jerk reactions. We can utilize the distraction so long as we maintain control of ourselves. We will proceed as planned.”

Jack began taking deep breaths, closing his eyes and slinging his rifle around his body as he clutched both his hands and tapped at his prosthetic one.

Lorin hadn’t spoken at all, still holding her phaser and waiting for orders.

Elias approached the two panicking ensigns, and opened their medical pack. "Panicking is understandable, but not what we need to do right now." They told Jack gently, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "We're alright, see? We'll take care of those guards in no time." They turned to Hanna. "I can give him a hypospray that will help calm him down."

[Comms] "You might want to get a move on an place the explosive while you can. The turbolift activity passed by so you should be able to move to the next target. People are going to be on high alert now, though."

She confirmed through the Comms that she understood as she finished with the device, getting up and moving towards the door, “Alright. Give them the hypo spray should they require it. Anyone else need something to cook their nerves before we go?” She eyed the guard before walking over to bring them outside the door, intending on strapping them to the unconscious one as a form of dead weight to prevent them tampering with the bomb.

Bright opened his eyes and looked at Elias, taking in another deep breath before exhaling and replying out, "I know, it's just- It's new to me, but I'm not new to guns. I'll be fine." Listening to the nice Ferengi lieutenant in the comms, he nodded and got his rifle back in his hands.

“No. I am quite calm at the moment.” She said blankly.

“Ready to go, Commander” She stood not far behind, still armed.

They nodded, smiling. "You don't need to explain. Just let me know if you feel.like you need me to intervene." They squeezed his shoulder before turning and nodding in acknowledgement to Lorin. "I'll keep the hyposprays ready if need be."

"I have energy bars!" Elwyn declared with a smile, her phaser locked onto the door in case anyone came through.

The bomb was successfully planted.

[Comms] "The place you just came from is clear as of now. Through the door that was to the left are more guards, though."

Pausing before asking through the Comms, “Is there an alternate path to the second location?”

[Comms] "Checking... There is no alternative route. There are two people stationed outside the entrance of where you're going, and then there are more milling about inside that room. Make your way out to that lobby area again, head out via that left door I pointed out at the start, if you can even get passed it to begin with, and then take an immediate right. There is then an immediate left and two people guarding a second door."

She nodded as she made her back back to the transporter room, taking the guard with her.

Lorin followed Hanna.

Elwyn quickly followed, her rifle still raised.

Elias followed, heart beating rapidly.

Miel followed them back to the transporter room

Jack groaned softly and went after them, rifle in hand and raised.
