Star Trek: Starbase 777 - unmarked-room-one

Upon entering, the unmarked room was, in fact... Restrooms? There were sinks, hand dryers, and toilet cubicles. There was one singular guard drying his hands when the door opened and Bright entered.

"THIS IS STARFLEET DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND MOVE THE FUCK OVER- Oh fuck this is a bathroom. My bad." Bright suddenly yelled out before he realized, but still keeping his phaser drawn at the single guard in there. "At least you wash your hands, yeesh."

The guard jumped as Jack shouted, but went back to drying his hands. “Dude, what does it look like I just did? I’m drying my hands, aren’t I? Why’d I do that if they weren’t wet?”

"Dude you have no idea how many times I've seen people just leave without washing their hands. It's disgusting." He rolled his eyes and calmed down a bit, shrugging.

“Yeah tell me about it. Half of the other guards here are basically savages. Might as well be from the 21st century or something.” The guard replied in agreement. (edited)

"Yeah i dealt with a few today, i literally played chicken with one of them. It was hilarious." Jack scoffed out loudly, chuckling and crossing his arms. "By the way mind if I drink some tapwater? Y'know, mission and all got me thirsty as hell man." Bright you shameless little fuck.

Elias had definitely been there the whole time, yep, and at the sight of Jack and his antics, they let out a "pfftt" and kept their phaser raised. "I cannot believe you are standing here chatting with a Section 31 agent about people going to the bathroom. My God, it's a wonder you're still alive." They murmured, but not unkindly. "Yeah I know this is pleasant, but uhhh we gotta tie you up, man." They stated matter-of-factly.

“Yeah no problem, go right ahead with the drink. We can carry on once I’ve dried my hands and you’ve had your drink anyway. There’s no rush. Wouldn’t want to drop my disruptor, anyway.” The guard replied in a chilled out tone. “Also wouldn’t want my hands to slip out of your zip ties or stasis cuffs or whatever you have.”

"Hey, most of them don't even want to be here anyway! Might as well, y'know. And i only live through sheer luck, spite and because i annoy people." He grinned proudly and got down to drink some water, rolling up his sleeves and just going ham.

"Hand me the disruptor first, please." They took a sip of smoothie and held out a hand. "Then there really won't be a rush." They observed Jack. Man, I swear to God.if this guy turns and tries to kill us I will never let you hear the end of it.

“Yeah, sure, why not.” The guard replied, his hands now dry. He took his disruptor out of its holster slowly and placed it ont the floor, before kicking it over to Elias. “There ya go. Wouldn’t wanna scare ya with it.”

"Mmm." They picked up the disruptor and put their phaser away so one hand could hold the disruptor and the other the smoothie. They took a skeptical sip. "Thanks. Now knock yourselves out with whatever you were doing." They had a hard time relaxing after the events of the day.

“My hands are nice and dry. I’m just gonna wait here for your friendo over there to arrest me and then whatever happens next happens!” The guard replied cheerfully. “You know, I only joined the Section because they offered free dental care. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Guard a base and have good teeth.”

Well, okay, if they were gonna talk about medical stuff, Elias HAD to say something. "Wow, really? Damn. Starfleet does have free medical care, though. Although I guess there's a bit more to Starfleet than just guarding a base. Ooo, you guys have a good smoothie machine, though. We should have more smoothie machines." They leaned against the wall, finishing up their drink and setting it down.

“I was about to say, that looks like a nice smoothie you got there! You telling me Starfleet don’t have smoothie machines? You should petition to your Captain to get one!” The guard remarked cheerfully.

"I mean, technically we can just replicate smoothies anywhere, but damn it, I want a smoothie machine. There's some in the mess hall, I think? Replicating a smoothie just isn't the same." Damn, they were really out here discussing the feeling of making a smoothie with a fucking Section 31 agent.

After a while, Jack finally got up after basically filling up completely with water. He sighed heavily in relief and looked at them, grinning. "Haaaah, hydrated! And yeah, we definitely should petition the station commander to put some smoothie machines in the station. You could join us in Starfleet, too! Y'know, it's a really cool place believe it or not." He smiled at the guard, brushing his silky red hair with his fingers.

"Also, Jack.... I... I have a cup, you know. You can fill it up with water now that I'm done instead of bending down like that." They chuckled. "And yeah. You should join Starfleet if you can." (edited)

“Ya know what, if I don’t get life in prison for this I think I’ll join you guys. You seem real nice. You know, I’ve never shot a single person with that disruptor? Not one. Never had to. I’ve always been placed on outposts no one knew existed except us. Guess you know about them now, though!” The guard replied cheerfully.

"Ah, damn, I guess we do know about them now. You know what else would be great for you? Telling where some of the other outposts are! Might shorten your prison sentence." They grinned, trying to get as much info out of this as they could.

Confused and worried about Jack and Elias, Renakir opened the door to find-- this was a bathroom and what was going on?! "Jack, Elias?" The very confused Romulan-Reman said, he was still holding his phaser rifle and of course the disruptor he swiped from earlier tucked under his arm.

“I only know of a few, but you know I think I will? I won’t bore you with any of that information, though. You’ve got more important things to be doing, but I’ll be sure to tell whoever interrogates me!” The guard said with a grin, before looking over at Renakir. “Hey there! Welcome to the party! These fine Starfleet officers were just about to arrest me!”

[Comms] “When you’re quite done partying in the restrooms or whatever that place is you have another room to clear.”

"Oh! Wazzup Rennie!" He turned around and grinned, happily waving at him. Jack was honestly glad this mission was turning out so well, so he was actually quite calm and relaxed while this all went down. "Don't worry too much though, nice guard. You'll earn a shorter sentence."

"Aye, sir. Alright, bucko, sorry to do this, but I gotta ziptie you." They said sternly but kindly. "We'll try and pay you a visit at some point."

"Party-- ack you guys," To this Renakir visibly face palmed. Oh what the hell. He had to laugh at this too, this situation was just too funny. "Hey, yeah some party in the restroom. Anyway-- Yes sir we got it we'll head out now," Renakir watched as Elias cuffed up the person and prepared to leave. His arms were still sore but he was determined to finish off this mission.

“Please, call me Paul. We’re all friends here! You’re doing your jobs, I’m cooperating. Say, you’ll be taking me to a brig soon, right? I’ve never been in one of those before! Could be exciting.” Said the way too positive guard apparently called Paul.

"And we truly appreciate that. I'm Jack, this is Elias and this is Renakir." He motioned to his Starfleet buddies and nodded his head in respect.

"Brigs are comfy. Don't ask me how I know." They stuck a tag on him and stood up, smiling and giving a little wave when Jack introduced them.

“A pleasure to meet you all!” Paul the overly-positive guard replied. “You all go off and do whatever you gotta do! I’ll sit right here and wait for you to take me to the brig!” He added as he went and sat down on the surprisingly clean floor of the restroom.

"Jack don't-- ugh I guess since Paul's going to the slammer it won't matter if they know our names. Anyway see you Paul," What the hell, but at least this little conversation was break from the action and Reman turbo jesus knew Renakir needed that. "Let's get outta here now."

"Thanks, Paul. I'll miss you." They put a hand to their heart before turning and following Renakir.

"Come on, he's nice! He could've shot me and he didn't!" He motioned to Paul, furrowing his eyebrows before sighing. Turning to him, he crouched down and smiled kindly. "I wish to see you in Starfleet someday." And he got up and walked off, waving at him before he left.

[Comms] “You know the computer core you went in earlier? You’re headed that way again, but you’re taking a left when you get to the first crossroad in the #upper-right-corridors.” (edited)

“I’ll always remember you guys! I’ll be sure to visit wherever you work if I get out in my lifetime!” Paul replied cheerily.
