Star Trek: Starbase 777 - upper-right-corridors

As team two exited the lobby outside the transporter room they would find two ways to go: Left and right. Either direction immediately lead to a 90 degree bend. The way to the right bent to the left a little further up, and just down there two guards stood by a door.

Elwyn entered the corridor and scanned left and right with her rifle, bere signalling that the initial area was clear.

Lorin followed Elwyn, primed to shoot or neck pinch anyone and everyone.

[Comms] “Once everyone is through head to the right and wait at the bend. There are two guards around the corner. They’ll need dealing with quietly if possible.”

Elias slipped through the door, following the others.

Elwyn moved up to the corner and stopped just short, before just briefly poking her head around to take a look. She immediately retracted. “I don’t think we can do anything other than stun them.” She whispered.

[Comms] “Not ideal. Let me look at the base analysis… Okay, it’s risky but there is a way to get around to the other side so you can take them both out at the same time. This hallway leads all the way around like a square bagel. If someone goes around the long way two of you could take them both out simultaneously without firing a shot.”

“I can take this one if someone wants to take out the other one. Do you have a hypo that could do that?” Elwyn whispered to Elias. She’d seen Lorin almost get shot already so really didn’t want to risk her again.

They nodded, rummaging around in their bag and pulled out two hyposprays. "I normally use these to anesthetize patients, but seeing the circumstances, knock yourself out. Not literally, please." They handed her a hypo.

Elwyn took one. “Okay. Whoever takes the other one, stay here and wait for my signal. I can sneak around to the other side, and unlike everyone else here I’m at least twenty percent less likely to be killed if shot by a guard. I’d much rather risk myself with my training than any of you go.” She whispered with a small smile.

“Shall I? Elias is more important as our medical support. I am not, as much.” She observed.

“Okay, yeah, but you need to act quick. When I signal you they won’t be looking at you. They might be looking at me but I can move quicker. As soon as you’re signalled run at the nearest one and use the hypo on their neck. Got it?” Elwyn explained with a look of determination on her face.

[Comms] “Sounds like as good a plan as ever. Stealth is superior.”

“Yes.” She said, accepting the hypo.

Elias nodded to Lorin. "Thank you."

“Good. Stay here and keep an eye out.” Elwyn said, before creeping off back where they came. She checked around the other corner before heading off down the next section as quickly and quietly as possible, passing by another two hallways, before making it to the other side. Once there she spoke over comms using her little mind integration thing she’d set up. “Stand by…” The android looked around the bend briefly at the two guards, waiting to see where they were looking.

Both guards were facing fairly straight ahead, one with their arms crossed and the other with their hand resting on their holstered weapon.

“Logically, you are more important to this mission. Please remain safe.” Wow, that’s the longest she had talked.

It would only be after a bit that he popped out of where the guards were, looking around before skittering after the group. Skitter skitter skitter.

“Okay… Now, do it now!” She instructed Lorin over comms, immediately rushing with the hypo in hand towards the guard nearest her while trying to not alert them for as long as possible, her rifle now behind her back out of the way as she looked to see if Lorin was doing the same.

Lorin rushed the guard with her hypo.

As the two rushed the guards neither of them reacted until they were quite close, having not heard them thanks to the alarm going off. The one nearest Lorin didn’t react in time and she was able to use the hypo, whereas the one nearest Elwyn reacted a little faster and started to put up a fight to try and stop her using the hypo.

Elwyn immediately grabbed for the guard’s arm that was on the side of their weapon to prevent them from shooting her, before quite swiftly head-butting the guard instead, which knocked them to the ground. She didn’t want to do it too hard in case she caused any real damage, but as soon as the guard was down she went in and finally knocked them out with the hypo. “That could’ve gone worse…”

“Yes, it could have. We should get going now.” She said.

[Comms] “Did that work? It sounds like that worked. Through those doors is another room. I count four people. One in the middle, two to the right, one to the left. After that is another room with another person.”

It would be a while before he caught up with the others, gasping and panting heavily for air as he propped himself just for a bit with his hands on his knees. "Hah.... Haaah.. Oh MAN, i gotta start running more."

“Okay, so, we should form up by the door. One goes left, one goes right, one goes straight. Phasers out, shoot if needed. We don’t know who these people are or how armed they are.” Elwyn whispered.

[Comms] “That room has been marked as a potential computer core or engine room of some sort. There could be unarmed workers in there.”

Miel followed around, not the best at taking out guards anyway, but she did perk up when she heard they were approaching the computer core. She might finally be useful.

“I can go straight.” She said, although she definitely wasn’t straight.

"I go right..." He wheezed out a bit before suddenly snapping back up and taking a deep breath.

“I’ll go left. Form up.” She instructed as she raised her rifle. “On my count, open the door and enter.”

[Comms] “You’ll probably need that security pass again.”

Miel nodded. "I still have it. Which side will we need it on?"

He too raised his rifle, preparing to kick some ass if needed.

[Comms] “The side you’re on or you won’t be able to get in the room.”

She stood by the door, ready to mess some people up.

Elias prepared some heavy sedatives and tags, heart pounding with excitement.

Miel went to the station by the side of the door and looked at everyone, ready to scan the the card. "Ready when you guys are."

Elwyn nodded once in response. “Okay, on three. One, two, three.”

As soon as he indicated three, she scanned the card.

The doors opened and Elwyn immediately entered #computer-core with her rifle raised.

Lorin was close behind, phaser drawn and ready to neck pinch.

And he immediately went after, the adrenaline making him go absolutely bonkers internally with excitement.

Elwyn exited the computer core with her rifle raised as she scanned the corridor, the alarm still blaring and red lights still flashing. “Everyone go back the way we came.”

Elias nodded and continued back to the transporter room.

Lorin, still humming, continued to the transporter room.

And here he is, striding down the hallwaaaay. Ain't nobody gonna mess with his stride, nobody can stop him now! Oh no! He gotta keep on moooving!

Miel followed the group, making her way towards the transporter room.

Elwyn headed back to the transporter room as well until they came back to the locked door. “We need that pass again.”

Miel took the card out of her pocket and went to the station next to the door, unlocking it. "After you!"

Elwyn smiled in response before heading into the lobby area outside of the transporter room, her rifle raised.

Elias followed warily.

"Alright got it," Renakir replied as he exited the restrooms and headed up that way as directed by Dagis. He still clutched his phaser rifle in hand although he didn't seem nearly on edge as he did earlier. Maybe because tensing up made his shoulders hurt more. That guard was real beefy, like fighting a whole ass Reman and Orion.

[Comms] “Turn left and take the next left. The #unmarked-room-two down there is where you’re headed. I count five people.”

Following Renakir, they went quiet again as they observed the area around them. "Acknowledged." They murmured in response to Dagis' directions.

"Left and left okay got it," Renakir was ready and armed, stepping lightly as they headed down the hall.

"I got stun grenades if we need 'em." He pulled out a stun grenade from god knows where, walking after them as quietly as he could. Honestly, Jack wished he'd see Paul again.

Quietly, Elias walked down the hallway and all the way to the turbolift.
