Star Trek: Starbase 777 - bf-west-corridor

“Don’t look back don’t look back don’t look back.” She repeated, trying not to think about Suun risking her life to keep them safe.

After some time through the vents, and seeing the exit grate, Paco let out a gasp of surprise. "I think we're here." He exclaimed as he went on to hold the grate with one hand, and punch it off its place with the other so that it doesn't drop down to the floor and make a loud annoying noise that could attract that thing here, or multiple of those things since he didnt know if that was the only one

He still heard fighting as he crawled trought the vents, was this even the safest option? those things liked to vent "I think i see an exit sir!" He kept following paco, until they fell the other side, at least he did in his ass "What about blegh and the klingon?.."

The silence of the emergency-lit red corridor greeted the team. Far too silent…to the point where the away team could hear, ever so slightly, a replicator whirring.

William brought up the rear of the vent group, having entered much later than the rest. A little bit on the taller side, having to crawl around was a bit uncomfortable. Regardless, he'd try to follow the others.

"They'll be fine. We have other priorities, ensign." Paco said to Vokk as he climed out the vent. "Daso! Replicator." (edited)

Looked at the plans "We should be closer to engineering i think?, and i hope so sir" Maybe they could save time, but it wasn't good to be separated.

“Which way do we go, Ensign?” She asked, not wanting to split up.

William soon emerged from the vents as well. He stood up after this, dusting himself off, and content with hearing what the others had planned for now.

"We should be if we follow the corridor. That's the only room of note here... This way, follow me." Paco said, following whatever signages there was plastered to the walls and also the sound of the whirring replicator. "We should probably get to a replicator first... get whatever we need for the engineering lab..."

"Don't be alarmed, it's me," Holly whispered to William, realising he likely hadn't noticed her following and not wanting to risk a swing to the head in case he thought she was an APU.

“Alright. Lets go, hop to it! No time to waste. The longer we take the more of them they can replicate!” She said, going down the hallway towards engineering.

"Oh shit, a person!" Paco whisper yelled in surprise whilst reporting that to William as Holly entered the scene.

William, oblivious to the fact someone was behind him for the moment, only got startled after Holly started talking. Damn, what a dumbass. "Gotcha." He replied, then turning his attention to the group. "Alright, a replicator? Yeah, that sounds like a plan."

“Okay, this should be engineering. Ready?” She said, pointing to a door down the hallway.

Skitter skitter…

Holly followed the group at the rear, turning to take a few steps backwards every once in a while to check that nothing was following them. The skittering made her perk up.

Khirena had crawled as fast as she could through the vents, not making a single sound as she went. She just sort of stuck close to everyone else, nodding along as everyone made plans. “I don’t like that noise.. something’s here.” She said very quietly, wide-eyed.

William immediately looked upwards, much too accustomed to seeing things descend from the ceiling and taking people. He scanned the area for anything - movement or otherwise.

Time to start walking away from that.. "Noise... noise" He says only to their group "Shhh noise".

“Alright run! It’s here!” She said, running faster. Opening the door into engineering, she waited for everyone to get in before barricading it shut.

William, there was one…two? Were there two? Three? Clinging to the ceiling was what felt like a small platoon of APUs.

Unlike before, Paco is now heavily armed. He pulls up the metallic grate he nabbed from the vent. "Bots! Everyone move!"

Off to the #bf-engineering-lab !

Khirena did not need to be told twice, she bolted through the open door to Engineering.

"Oh holy FUCK!" William yelled. He spent a second to search for anything he could grab from the corridor, but finding nothing, he rushed into the engineering lab empty-handed. (edited)

As soon as her rifle's flashlight moved over the ceiling, Holly felt her heart drop. "Get into engineering. Quickly." She stayed until everyone was inside, then followed.

An APU’s head turned 180 degrees to look down at the group, and the instant they ran the APUs began to move out toward the other corridors!
