[COMMS] “Lieutenant Junior Grade Sykes to…anyone who’s listenin’, I suppose. Y’all have any idea what’s goin’ on out there?”

[COMMS] "JPO K'mporr to Lieutenant Sykes. We have no clue, we cannot get in contact with those inside, including the scientists. Could you meet me in engineering hub?"

[COMMS] “I’ll make my way there.”

[COMMS] “Ensign Vanik S’tah’rok, Engineering. I am also available to assist. I will be in Engineering shortly.”

"To whoever was talking in this channel -- Lt. Cdr. Eicran here. I'm not sure if that Lieutenant still needs a medic, but the last comm from them sounded a bit suspicious. Do you mind if I join you in engineering to get a run-down of what's going on?"

[COMMS] “Get on down here, Lieutenant.”

[COMMS] “Lieutenant Commander Rakim to anyone listening, does anyone know what’s…going on?”

[COMMS] "This is First Officer Rii Pin Relem. All personnel in the operations hub are ordered to evacuate immediately."

[COMMS] “Sykes to K’mporr. Good to go.”

[COMMS] "Understood."

[COMMS] "K'tehka son of Th'omon to any Starfleet Officer. I am a Civilian and I am located in... Turbolift 2 with another civilian named Galankir."

[COMMS] "Engineering to Turbolift 2. Are either of you injured?" (edited)

[COMMS] "We are both physically unharmed, but three Starfleet Officers were killed by a Vulcanoid man in a Starfleet uniform, though the uniform did not have a division stripe. He had a knife. The Officers were one Intelligence officer identified as a Ms. t'Reinak, an officer with the designation of 'Four,' and an Engineer named McGuire." [pause] "The young Vulcanoid man with a knife said, the fog has a source. If we locate it and prevent it from spewing out more, as well as find a way to filter it out, we will be saved."

[Comms] “This is Roode to anyone! Help us! Help!”

[COMMS] "This is Lieutenant Umali to... anyone who can hear this. We are in the Computer Labs. Can anyone hear us?"

[COMMS] "There are four, wait no, Eyeo, five of us here!"

[COMMS] "Engineering to Turbolift 2. Is there any chance their deaths were a hallucination spurred by the fog? We have located the source— just trying to figure out how to get to it.."

[COMMS] "JPO K'mporr to Lieutenants Umali and Roode. We hear you, we are doing all that we can. Is anyone injured?"

[COMMS] "Umali here. We're okay. Emotionally scarred and traumatized, but I think that's mostly me. But we're physically okay!"

[COMMS] “No no it’s all of us.”

[COMMS] "Satisfactory for the time being. Listen closely, Lieutenant, I have a task for you and your group."

[COMMS] "Oh okay. We are all emotionally scarred and traumatized!"

[COMMS] "... Right, of course. I need you all to make your way back to the chemistry labs where the capsule was first broken, and seal it away. It is the source of the hallucinogens, and once it is taken care of, we can flush the rest out using the environmental controls. There should be something you can use. Anything airtight will do. Is this a task you feel capable of managing?" (edited)

[COMMS] "I feel like that is an exaggeration, but okay."

[COMMS] "Understood."

[COMMS] "Right. Sounds good. Yeah. Slight problem. There's a scary creature thing, that might not be friendly to us, that is very willing and able to chase us outside, or at least somewhere along the way back, and probably make us not alive... do you know how to make it go away? It's okay if not, we'll figure it out."

[COMMS] “Make it go away? They aren’t ghostbusters Paco.”

[COMMS] "Make it go away as in either distract it to sneak past it or at least give us a chance to defend ourselves. Or both!"

[COMMS] "They are hallucinations, Lieutenant. They are not real, and cannot harm you."

[COMMS] "...so we're high?"

[COMMS] "...high as hell, sir."

[COMMS] "It's an exceptionally bad trip."

"Damn... being high sucks! But we'll do the thing, yes. Thank you."

[COMMS] "Your instructions were understood."

[COMMS] "Engineering to Science. We are sending a drone your way for assistance."

[COMMS] "Understood. Standing by."

[COMMS] "Are you certain it will not just shut down like the comms and tricoders?"

[COMMS] "Positive. It is already nearby."

[COMMS] "We will be able to guide you to the labs without the disturbance of hallucinations."

[COMMS] "Lieutenant, you cannot name the drone. We made the drone. We reserve the right to name it, thank you very much."

[COMMS] "Its rude to eavesdrop. The drone's here, so we're gonna start moving in a little bit. If you find a way to communicate with us outside the computer lab, that would be sweet!"

[COMMS] "It is also rude to name other people's drones. We will do our best."

[COMMS] "We claim it in the name of science... okey dokey then, best of luck! Keep us posted."

[COMMS] "Turbolift 2 to Engineering. We cannot be certain whether it was a hallucination or not. All I know at this time is that I saw the figure attack, their bodies fall to the ground, and three bodies were very much left behind. How can we be of assistance?"

[COMMS] "If you are safe in the turbolift, please remain there. We do not want anyone else harmed."

[COMMS] "Understood."

"Engineering from Kehal. The capsule is secure and contained - could you please vent the fog?"

[COMMS] “Sykes to Kehal - Good to go, y’all!”
