Stepping into the corridor, she had to admire this whole place, really it was interesting "Well, at least we aren't stuck in a turbolift for an uncomfortable amount of hours. That would have violated some war crimes against torture I bet."

Here we go! Five followed along. "Don't jinx it, Ensign.."

Copia breathed out upon Coda's hopefully-not-jinx. "Let's all hope for Lieutenant Valkyrie and Lieutenant Essen's sake, Ensign."

Kaylee also stepped into the corridor. She wasn't nervous, per se, but she wasn't exactly saying much or as excitable as she was normally. She still wasn't sure why she came, she wasn't a ship repairs specialist..

As he heard the beating of the ship's tell-tale heart, he remembered what he said about treating her gently earlier. They would soon arrive at her core; it felt very... Intimate, suddenly.

"Oh, at least there's space in the turbo. I was stuck in one of these wall panels for a while!" he supplied with too much cheer in the voice of someone saying such sentence. Juler then cleared his throat, "Uh, sorry."

Copia turned to Kaylee quickly as she and the rest of them continued forward. Bringing up turbolifts may have prompted bad memories for her. "Are you doing alright, Kaylee?"

"Hm? Oh, I'm fine! Really." Kaylee gently waved her free hand, insisting she was okay. She was. Just. On an unfamiliar ship, and an...uneasy feeling. But she was fine. Yeah. She was fine.

She didn't know that not wanting to be in a turbolift was such a touchy subject for some, but she could understand not wanting to jinx such things. So she kept quiet

Copia didn't want to prod, she could tell something was up with Kaylee, but she didn't want to affect Kaylee any further. "Alright," Copia said. "Anything happens here I'll let Lieutenant Commander tr'Kota -- and Essen -- know immediately. If not me, then Ensign Mitchells will." She looked to Coda - almost looking to her as if to ask 'yes?'

She was so busy taking in her surroundings, she barely registered that someone had called her name. When she realized who it was she straighten her back and cleared her throat "Oh, uh, yes. I mean, I'll let Essen know if anything goes down. We've met a few times before so I'm not a total stranger."

"Um...okay, but I'm sure it won't be necessary. Thank you, ma'am." Kaylee spoke, sounding mostly fine. She was fine.

"If something goes wrong, you should ask your superiors about it or go to medical, probably," Serin said. He was kind of getting the opposite feeling - he felt more at ease the further he got into this ship.

"Plus, there's a whole bunch of us here right now, so if anything happens there'll be about ten people at any given time who will step up to help." Lapan too was not at all nervous. If anything at all, he was embarrassed that he'd been making a fool of himself all afternoon, first with the quack and now with ship demons... it never ended.

"No, i-it's not--- er, never mind." If only Serin and Lapan knew. If only they'd been in the place where it happened. If only they'd felt what Kaylee felt, or at least how Copia heard it from Essen. There was so much more beneath the surface, Copia felt. So much more that Copia had the inkling that she was afraid Kaylee was feeling.

Not understanding who all these mentioned names were and more focused on getting his ship fixed, Juler led them to the #singularity-core-access. Without pausing, the head engineer made his way right in...

Copia, following the rest into the #singularity-core-access, stayed close behind the group, while remaining somewhat close to Kaylee to keep an eye on her. Under her breath, and not loud enough for anyone to hear, she uttered, "You'd never understand it."

Alizati was there, just walking behind the crew. He said nothing and headed to #singularity-core-access .

Most Vulcans, and even half-Vulcans, had very good hearing and would definitely have picked that up. Fortunately for Copia, his hearing aid was built to only pick up sounds within the range most humans would be capable of. He followed Juler into #singularity-core-access.

Five followed closely behind, streamlining his focus. He swung his toolbox a little while he went, a little bit of a pep in his step.
