"There we are, then." Vedette delicately set down the box for 777's theatre troupe to inspect. It was filled with scripts for her latest play, a story of drama, romance, horror— a tragedy in the making! "One of my assistants is nearby making more copies, but I thought you would like to see for yourselves. Do give me a ticket if you ever decide to run it?" She seemed terribly proud of the play, practically glowing with excitement.

"I'll give you a ring when we've looked it all over, but I'm sure it'll be show-worthy, miss Cadieux. May I call you Vedette?" Dion (which he was going by today) replied.

Curious, Maggie poked around in the box, taking a script to flip through it. "Ooh, this looks like a lot of fun!" they gushed, running a hand over the page. High-quality copies for sure..

"Oh, that would be just fine, darling!" Vedette flashed a dazzling grin. "I'll be around for a little while yet, I've got a few things on board I've been dying to try.."

Ahhh yes, regional theatre experiences of playing Spock in Kirk: The Musical aside, Snake was happy to be back, ready to be on the stage once more in whatever way he could. Looking inside the box, Snake scanned over the few scripts inside, before he himself picked one up to inspect it. Noticing the size of the script book itself, Snake's face upturned with an impressed nod, before he too flipped through the pages. "Not too shabby!" Snake said. "I haven't seen a play written like this in a while, I'm impressed!" As he flipped through more, looking through the dialogue and action blocks.

Melody peeked over Snake's shoulder, looking as he flipped through. "Wait, go back to that last page? Please," Melody asked politely. Her eyes also scanned the pages, taking in an initial view of the script, without really diving too much into it. "Thank you," she said. "Snake's right, miss Cadieux. This is amazing!"

"You flatter me, you're making me blush!" the actress, who was, in fact, not blushing, gushed. "Too kind, thank you. Here, take a copy, why don't you? See for yourself," she offered Melody a script of her own.

Melody remained calm and professional, as she needed to be especially in front of a playwright. See, Melody normally would be energetic and excitable - but this was her first big chance to market herself for a playwright while on the station. So, with an eager smile, Melody calmly and professionally replied, "of course! Thank you for letting us look at it!" As she gently took the script from Vedette, and flipped through more of the pages. "You have a very unique writing style," Melody said. "I can hear the dialogue spoken in my head, that's how good it is!" As she flipped through more pages, although still calmly and professionally.

He was saying nothing, taking a moment to read and digest the script as much as he could. He had a keen sense of smell, too, so he enjoyed being near paper and ink. Breathe it all in... Relaxing. PADDs just weren't the same.

Snake did the same, reading a little slower, as he figured it would be best to start mapping out the story beats in his head from what the script had given him. At some points he was unmoving other than his eyes which parsed the words, but at other points, his head nodded again, and his face showed that he continued to be actually quite impressed!

"Could I get a script? I'd like to get a feel for what the costumes should be as soon as possible." Senang knew nothing about acting, or singing, or dancing, or any of the things the troupe did regularly. He knew sewing though, and he knew how to catch eyes, which is why he offered to design costumes every so often. "Since it's a Cadieux original, I'm sure it'll end up being performed."

As Senang retrieved a copy, Ssaedhe looked over his shoulder when he started flipping through it. It wasn't that difficult as she was slightly taller than he was, and she wanted to know if there were any smaller roles she could audition for... she preferred being a side character, most of the time.
