Star Trek: Starbase 777

One, two, three, four... step step, clap. Rai had the music pumping and his body moving! He had reserved a private room so he could practice his dancing. After being horribly embarrassed the last social event he danced at, he was determined to be cool and sexy next time! Rai was listening to a Romulan classic -- the Rihannsu remake of a terran song apparently. "Apple bottom jeans--" Rai sang with the music, swaying his hips side to side. "Boots with the FUR!" He stepped to the side, panting after each word. Rai was donning some tight black leggings with a white tank top. Around his head he had a sweatband as always since he was always so sweaty. "The whole warbird was LOOKING AT HER-- she hit the floor.." Rai sang as he slowly began to lower himself to the ground. "Next thing you know! Shawty got low low low..." Rai slowly flattened himself onto the ground, now laying face down like a starfish.

Into the room, Raha stepped unannounced. "Riov?" She heard the music, but couldn't see the man she was looking for. She had been told that the infamous 'Bread captain' was here. He was seven feet tall, it should be hard to miss, and that's exactly when she saw the large mass lying on the ground. Her first thoughts were should she be concerned? Was he ok? Right when she was going to approach, Rai stood up and looked at her.

"Ah, hello," Rai stood up and commanded the music to stop. He did not recognise this person, but perhaps he had gone over time? "May I help you?" Rai shuffled over to his little tote bag that had his normal clothes and some towels to wipe his face. He wiped all the sweat from his brow and approached the other Romulan.

"Yes. Riov Rai," Raha began. She was much shorter than him but she didn't seem intimidated. Raha had a slim figure, but exuded strong confidence. Her long silver hair was silky and smooth. "I am Riov Raha t'Merrus. I am here to discuss your current officer exchange on behalf of the Romulan Republic."

Rai's entire body tensed up when she mentioned his exchange. His last evaluation had gone well, but he was always paranoid the Republic would change their mind about allowing him to continue at his current position. He briefly thought back to all of the embarrassing things he had done in the past year. All of those 'bread moments' as his brother called it. He then thought to his brother's wedding -- what if he was going to be removed because he had not stood beside the Torre'vnau house during the wedding? Rai was already formulating his explanation about his own self confidence and problems with the Khellians.

"You are not in trouble," Raha realised she had to specify when she saw the hint of paranoia in the other Riov's eyes. "Perhaps we should move to a different venue, this is a shared space, correct?"

"Ah, yes it is," Rai took a deep breath, wiping his brow with his shirt and thus exposing his bare abs. Raha did not seem to mind, but very quickly Rai realised how unprofessional that was. "Umm.. I can shower and then meet you somewhere else? I will message you once I am.. presentable," Rai realised that Raha had probably pinged his PADD numerous times or visited his quarters. Zero would most likely not have recognised the name or perhaps it was Zadki who was home, but either way, they'd probably both just say Rai was out. "I think we can chat in a cafe. I currently live with my conspirator and their child so I think a cafe space would be best. My apologies, thank you, Riov," Rai bowed his head to Raha and then scurried to grab his things and headed to the shower area.
