And so it continued.
Ever since the incident, Jack stuck to the geology labs and always showed up to his shifts (even if a little late), but he's become.... distant. Drawn off, away from the world. He hasn't talked to anyone since, has inadvertently starved himself, hasn't even fixed his hand up. Everything's just work work work, and he subconsciously intended on continuing with it that way. He was so worried about Saren, so worried about his roommateβ.... former, roommate, now, but he didn't know how to approach him. Hell, the way he acted when Saren had returned to his "normal", quote on quote, way.. after he had stabbed the Admiral and the Captain. Like Saren would want to see him again... Hm.
The redhead still didn't know what had caused it considering he didn't get the news nor interacted with anyone lately, but it's not like that mattered now. With a heavy sigh, the disheveled man slumped against his table and hid his face with his arms, looking at his fucked up prosthetic for a moment before looking away and putting his glasses away so they wouldn't break. Again. Why did he always have to be so affected by this? It was getting so boring, so boring to have to deal with heartbreak and abandonment over and over again. It wasn't fun anymore. And now he had to deal with this, too! Oh, how he missed the time where he could mask his unhappy ways with sarcasm and a perpetual happy-go-lucky demeanor.
