After she'd entered she changed out of her uniform, into the next best clothes she found and prepared for going to bed. While carefully brushing out her hair, her gaze fell on the bags standing in the corner of the room. Some of her belongings were still not unpacked, even though she had been here for almost two months now. She picked up one of the half empty bags, placed it on the bed and started to unpack it. Her formal clothes, that she never wore, since she was in uniform at essentially all official events she went to, got banished to the very back of one of the drawers and a small surprisingly detailed stone star ship, that she had gotten from her father when she was seven, was carefully placed next to a small stack of pictures on the desk.
Once the bags were finally empty, she sat down on the bed and let herself fall back. It probably would have been prudent to braid her hair again before going bed, but she could not bring herself to care. Staring at the ceiling, she carefully sorted through her thoughts and made a mental checklist for what she'd have to do tomorrow, before pushing away the pain coming from her leg and turning off the lights.
