From: Captain Mephistopheles Mo
Please see me in my office to discuss a matter of importance when you're next available (not an emergency or bad news).
- Station Commander Mephistopheles Mo
Renakir was running around in the common area, chasing Kali-fal Madeleine with his disruptor when he caught the glimpse of a flashing light on the console. He quickly set his disruptor down and headed over to check to see what it was. 'See me in my office'? A shiver ran down his spine when he read the words from the Captain-- not an emergency or bad news... So what could it be? Kali-fal had grabbed the disruptor and was waddling towards Renakir as he was preoccupied with trying to understand what the captain would want to discuss. The disruptor. That's what it was. Renakir was sure word of his chicken fight with the guard had gotten to his superior officer and he was going to be... Not reprimanded, maybe he would have to hand it over? Not knowing what to expect, Renakir carried Kali-fal to his room, disruptor still in her mouth, and plopped her down in the P'Low. He changed into his uniform and combed his hair. He had to make sure he looked his best, he was seeing the captain after all. He affixed his sunglasses carefully on his face. Kali-fal was unaware of what was happening, but made herself comfortable in the pillow fort. "I'll be back, Kali-fal," Renakir knelt down to give his daughter a kiss on the nose. Kali-fal responded by giving Renakir a nose boop back. With that done, Renakir headed out of his quarters!
[D] After twerking in the brig, Renakir returned to his quarters and-- with excitement still running through his veins he put on some M'Kl Mor, that famous Romulan rapper, and began to do some more twerking. Sure he was tired as fuck, but he was in the mood to shake some ass. Kali-fal Madeleine waddled out from his room to join her father in the common area. She wasn't sure what the weird music was, but she knew when it was time to dance! The tiny epohh jumped around with Renakir, wiggling her butt and antennae with the beat.
[D]Having sped back to his quarters, rocks still in hand, Jijix had a different kind of adrenaline running through his veins. Nervousness, excitement, incredulousness—Renakir just had to hear about it! Jijix had met PEOPLE! And done okay! And it was unexpected too! He went ahead and opened the door. “Renakir, I just- what the fucK-“ He stopped dead and stared, confused and a little scared at his brother’s strange movements and the music. Some kind of challenge?
"Macaroni in a pot that's some wet ass-- Oh, dinam," Renakir quickly turned around to see his brother walking into their quarters. Kali-fal Madeleine noticed Jijix a few seconds later, still shaking her lil butt after her father had stopped his dancing. "Computer pause music," He said, holding his hand up as if he was commanding some junior officer but no he was just giving orders to the computer. "Hey, sorry I was just dancing with Kali-fal. How are you?" Renakir asked, his voice back to the normal calm that everyone knew and loved. He sounded much more confident than before though, like he was no longer holding back. He wasn't wearing his sunglasses either as the room was adequately dark with only some dim lighting, giving the effect that he was dancing in a dank club.
He blinked, shaking his head and moving on rather than stopping to puzzle over what the hell he had walked on. He held up his bag of rocks. “I met Tiravurik. And Kiaranix. He held my hand. And Tiravurik gave me rocks to eat. And they gave me sunglasses. And it was… quite unnerving. I mean, I like them, but I thought…” Well, I thought they would kill me. A teensy bit. Words spilled out of his mouth and he gestured wildly with his hands in his haste to explain what had happened.
If only Shinzon, Obisek, and Xiomek, could see what their struggles to free the Remans had led to. This was the power of a free Reman, freedom to shake his ass wherever he pleased. "Unnerving?" Renakir frowned when he heard his brother talk about the experience. He knew their Reman family was a bit overwhelming at first, especially Kianarix. Tiravurik had a lot of experiences with Romulans but Kianarix was pretty naive and... Not to hate on the kid, he had no tact.
"Rocks and sunglasses? And... You held Kianarix's hand? Oh dinam, I hope they didn't pressure you into anything," Again with the tact thing, Kianarix was pretty bad at understanding personal space and boundaries. He couldn't blame the young Romulan-Reman though, it's not like he got any boundaries with the Rylov's. "You thought...? I hope they didn't pressure you into anything..."
"Um." He ran one hand through his hair, slightly embarrassed. "I thought they would... not like me or something. I suppose I still think everyone is out to get me." He said quietly, revealing the more open, scared part of himself. His tone quickly changed and he returned to his normal voice. "They didn't pressure me. But Kiaranix seemed sad when I was confused about holding his hand, since you two are engaged?... But he said it's how Remans show trust. But I couldn't stay to eat there. I wanted to come back here. I don't want to eat in front of them." I'll scan the food just to make sure it's safe first, I suppose. He walked over to a table and set down the bag, taking out the container of rocks and grabbing a tricorder matter-of-factly, not quite processing that this could be seen as offensive or distrustful. To him, it was just common sense.(edited)
Renakir's gaze softened and Jijix could see that with his lack of sunglasses. Kali-fal trotted over to the other man's feet, sniffing a couple times before looking up at him. Renakir spoke about combat training her, but she was much better suited to be a friendly companion than a sidekick in battle. "Kianarix likes physical contact, it's just how he is," Renakir followed Jijix and sat on the sofa across from him. He observed as the other took out his tricorder to scan the food. "And our engagement... Ah, I suppose if you grew up on earth maybe you wouldn't know that we're... The terran term would be polyamorous, but it's pretty standard in Romulan and Reman culture. The third person in a marriage serves as the verifier to ensure the trust of the other two, it's a big system of checks and balances, I mean that's why we call our spouses ‘conspirators'," He hoped framing it that way would help Jijix understand the concept a little better. He had no idea what Jijix learned on earth, but the boy needed more (good) Romulan culture.
"And I get not wanting to eat in public, " Renakir cracked a tiny smile, just enough so Jijix could see his pointy teeth. He reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked like a pack of gum and put it on the table. "Here, use these. They're more accurate than those scanners," Well, maybe not, but they were Romulan and that's what mattered. "They're poison testing strips. You put them over whatever you want and they turn green if there's poison. If it's safe, no reaction. It takes a few seconds to work and non-Romulans would have no idea what you're doing. Much more subtle," He said, giving his brother a thumbs up.
He turned, looking surprised, and took the poison stirps from his brother, still staring at him in astonishment. "Thank... thank you. I didn't know you kept these with you." Renakir hadn't asked questions. He hadn't pried. He just understood. He catches the change in expression and soft smile and he looked down, fiddling with his hands and marveling at how lucky he was to have a good brother such as Renakir. Someone who didn't push him, or pressure him. Someone who understood completely. He was put at ease by his brother's kind and light attitude, and he gave him a small, hesitant smile in return before putting one of the strips over the food. Sure enough after a few seconds, nothing had happened. He waited for a little longer, just to be sure, but it appeared to be safe! "Thank you for clarifying. I suppose I still have a lot to learn, eh? But hey, I have a good teacher." He made an attempt at lightheartedness. He brought the rocks over to the sofa and sat down next to Renakir, already feeling safe enough to get a bit within stabbing distance. He picked up one of the rocks and looked at Renakir, befuddled. "Do I just... pop it in my mouth?"
From one paranoid Romulan to another. Renakir knew what Jijix was going through as he was there not too long ago. They were both coming from highly paranoid societies, which really made him wonder what JIjix's experience was on earth. Renakir remembered hiding in his room a lot, pretending he wasn't there, begging not to be perceived. But now, a whole thirty years old, ten years later, he was spitting bars and twerking in the brig, begging to be perceived. He watched as Jijix used the poison strips, he was so proud. His brother would surely live a long life in Romulan society. "Of course, I'm Romulan. And feel free to keep that pack, I have a lot," Renakir winked with a cheeky grin. He may not have been jumping at every thing on sight anymore, the paranoia was still there. He was still cautious, skeptical, that would probably never go away.
"It's alright, I know our culture is a bit weird. I'm still getting used to Reman culture myself," He admitted with a shy smile as he rubbed the back of his neck. He was the future head of house, half Reman, but there was still a lot about the cold-loving grey Vulcanoids he didn't know. "Oh, yeah you just eat it like umm terran popcorn," He told Jijix, looking at him with anticipation. He hoped his brother would like the rocks, in his mind, JIjix was already Reman!
”…Thank you.” He gave his brother a broader, honest smile, hoping that it would convey all the confusing things he was feeling and wanted to say but didn’t know how. He was still learning how to express positive feelings for others, as it had been done so rarely in his household, except by his mother, in secret when she could. He remembered dark nights when his father had already gone to bed, and his mother would slip into his room and sit on his bed. She would bend down and kiss his forehead, something very un-Romulan, and she would tell him how she loved him and how she was proud of him. But that happened rarely. He had never quite developed the skills to convey such things to others. But he hoped Renakir got the message. He looked back at the rock in his hand before popping it into his mouth. They were satisfyingly crunchy, and he liked them! He let out a little “mmm”.
“I like it!” He ate some more, before offering some to Renakir while he spoke. “Did your family not teach you any Reman culture at all? What about Tiravurik?” Renakir was half Reman. It seemed like a crime to not teach him about his own culture and family. Although, Jijix supposed that it might have been taboo to do so.
Renakir could see how genuine Jijix's smile was and it made him feel warm inside. He had never had a brother he could connect to, not like Jijix at least. Him and Rai always got along, but with their ten year age gap they didn't have much in common. Renakir was five when he met Rai who was already fifteen, much too large a gap to be suitable playmates. Their early relationship was mostly teacher and student as Rai attempted to speedrun his brother through Rihannsu so he could attend school. As he gazed at Jijix he had to stop himself from reaching over to ask for the other's hand. For some reason, initiating physical touch with Jijix came more naturally than with any other members of his family. It was definitely because him and Jijix were close in age and came from similar backgrounds.Renakir pressed his fingertips together, a habit mimicked by his brother, as he watched Jijix sample the rocks. He was delighted to see his new brother enjoying them, that delight being conveyed by the grin on his face and slight twitch of his ears as they picked up on the sounds of Jijix's voice. "Growing up, no. It was a bit of a family secret about my heritage," Renakir grimaced as he reached his hands up to press the tips of his floppy ears to his head. "I didn't see our Reman family until we settled on Mol'Rihan three years ago. Before then I had to pretend I was fully Romulan. I got a tan, burned my eyes out daily from the lights, I even once tried to grow my hair out to cover my ears. That was terrible, I looked like some guy in kung fu movie," Renakir said with a slight chuckle. "I don't suppose you heard many good things about Remans at home, did you?"
He grimaced. That sounded insanely uncomfortable. He felt a twinge in his own eyes at the thought of being forced to live in blinding light everyday. He shook his head. "I'm sorry, that sounds horrible. Uncomfortable. But no. We had servants occasionally. But I wasn't allowed to speak to them. They stopped working for us when my mom got fed up with it. She and my dad argued about views on Remans a lot. My father was very conservative and set in his ways. My mother... I think she was more human than Romulan in her beliefs. I'm not sure why she married him in the first place. I suppose it was arranged or something. She believed that Remans were equal in every way to Romulans. My father didn't agree. I suppose I take after my mother in that way. I hope our race learns to stop thinking less of Remans because of who they are." He paused. "I never liked having servants anyway. No matter what species or race or anything. It feels wrong."
Renakir visibly frowned when he heard about the servants-- and Jijix's parents arguing about the Remans. He wanted to ask if JIjix's servants were Reman, but he knew he didn't want to hear it. That's when a thought crossed his mind. He wasn't going to say anything about the servants, but he had to know. How to go about the questions though? He didn't want to make Jijix feel guilty for something that wasn't his fault, but at the same time he had a lot of unanswered questions. Jijix was fine, but it was his parents that made Renakir apuse. * "Sirrai was incredibly spacist, I suppose that is why your mother took your family away," *The Romulan side of the Torre'vnau house was known for keeping the status quo, which made it even more imperative that Renakir kept his heritage a secret. If the Tal Shiar knew the next Torre'vnau head of house was a Reman well, maybe they wouldn't have survived life on Rator III.
"The servants... I am curious were they brought over from Romulus? Did you know of..."Renakir paused and closed his eyes to think. The memories were nearly twenty five years old, names were hazy. He tried to remember his family on Remus, all the faces of the Remans of the Torre'vnau house. “R'Vemuk? Or S'Hakruvek?" Renakir hoped he was getting the names right. "Tiravurik said they did not get on the Reman transport after the Supernova, there were more but I do not remember their names."
Names, names... think, Jijix. His brow furrowed in concentration and he went silent, trying to remember. "I think they did come over from Romulus. I don't know about a R'Vemuk, but S''Hakruvek... it rings a bell." He set the rocks down, thinking again. He had never known the servants' names by asking them directly. "I don't know, I think I might have heard the name come up during a conversation between my parents. I never knew their names directly. But I think they're on Earth now with my parents. They only kept a few as servants. Were those two specifically important to you?..."
Renakir was unsurprised that Jijix couldn't pinpoint the names. To many Romulans, names of their servants were irrelevant. He let out a soft sigh as he watched Jijix put down the rocks, wondering if he should ask if he could have some. Renakir loved rocks, but he didn't want to steal his brother's food. Kali-fal Madeline was still in the room too, the little epohh waddled over to Jijix, sniffed his feet, and then hopped up next to him on the sofa. She looked curiously at the rocks as if she wanted to try some too.
"They were just part of my family on Remus. When I was young I stayed with the rest of the Remans of our house. As you know we only have four remaining Remans in our family, including myself, the rest are either dead or missing. I was just curious, that's all," Renakir looked at his epohh daughter and then at Jijix. "I don't think I ever asked, who was your father and what... What was his position in society? Don't worry, I won't be upset if it's the secret police, our family definitely benefitted from their actions," Renakir gave his brother a reassuring smile. He also chose to use the Rihannsu phrase 'secret' and 'police' rather than the official title 'Tal Shiar'. It made it sound less... Murderous.
The Romulan nodded in understanding. "I see. Well, I know at least one of them is safe. I can contact my parents and soon who's with them for you." He held out the rocks to Renakir, indicating that he could help himself, and he patted Kali-fal's head. He was quiet when Renakir asked about his family. "Um... my father. Aravhra tr'Rekar." He smiled sadly. "His uncle is a commander in the Tal Shiar. Was. I don't know if he's still alive." A harsh, paranoid look crossed his face at the thought of his great-uncle roaming the galaxy, lurking in the shadows waiting for him. He set the rocks down abruptly, spilling s few, and he hugged his knees, now grimacing. "They often tried to get me and my mother to join the secret police. But my mother made it clear that I was off-limits, and she was stubborn herself." He curled even tighter into himself, inching closer to Renakir to draw comfort from him.
Renakir nodded when Jijix said he'd contact his parents about the Remans. If they were still on earth... Serving Jijix's parents... That thought honestly made him sick. Reman servants in 2412?? He frowned and then grimaced, his expression mirroring Jijix's own. They were not related by blood but their aura was oddly similar. When offered the rocks he reached his hand out to grab a few, munching silently. They were softer than the rocks he normally ate, but that was because Jijix lacked the sharp teeth of Remans by blood.
"And maybe... invite them to Mol'Rihan? Tell them they could be free there," Renakir's eyes reflected his concern as he watched Jijix set the rocks down. He didn't make any move to pick up the ones that fell from the container, but Kali-fal seemed interested. After receiving the head pats the epohh's little hoofs clacked on the table as she sniffed the rocks and began to lick them. "Rekar? I don't know of him but I am glad you never got caught up in that," Renakir looked at Jijix and then at Kali-fal. "Do.. Do you need a hug? I mean-- could I hug you?" Oh physical affection his old friend, Renakir's words were clumsy, hesitant, as if he wasn't sure of himself. A big contrast from how he was not just ten minutes ago.
Wary eyes turned and landed on Renakir. His body was tense, shaking a little. What he wanted, truly wanted, was so close. For a long time physical touch was something he had discovered he craved. But the possibility of danger... with Renakir, it wasn't so prevalent. He merely nodded and murmured a "thanks" before scooting even closer for the hug. "I will tell them that they can be free."
At the confirmation, Renakir wrapped his strong arms around Jijix. Despite what some ex-s31 agents may have one believe, Renakir had a strong and athletic build. He had broad shoulders and kept a firm hold on his brother. Romulans and Remans may not have had touch telepathy after all, but he felt a connection when he hugged Jijix. It was similar yet different when he hugged his fathers. Hugging Jijix felt like.. Home. As if together, the two Torre'vnau boys could take on the whole universe. "On Mol'Rihan everyone is free," Renakir smiled, closing his eyes. Kali-fal seemed to pick up on this sudden tender moment and wriggled her way up on the sofa, curling up right between her dad and uncle.
[D] The two just sat in silence, cuddling a little while longer before both going back to their private bedrooms. Renakir and Kali-fal headed back to the RRW P'Low to finally get some good sleep.
[D] The next day, Renakir woke up early after a very amazing 8 hours of sleep!!! Look at ya boi getting in that REM sleep! He gave his epohh daughter a kiss and bounced out of his quarters!
Back in his quarters, Renakir was greeted by his excited epohh daughter who lept up when she saw him. He pat her on the head and scooped her up in his arms before walking to his bedroom. It was time for her walk! He still had the dried mangos Paco gave him so he planned to give them to Kali-fal as a treat. He would eat them, but they contained sugar and Renakir did not like having his senses messed with. He grabbed Kali-fal's leash and harness and headed out the door!
Dinam. I know you are in OPS so can you please go to the lakes and ponds and check on the fish sculpture in the middle of the skating area? Please do not ask why, just check and make sure the ice is clear throughout and fix it accordingly.
A present arrived for Renakir:The box was wrapped with silver wrapping paper with a blue ribbon bow. Inside the box (with some bubble wrap) was a custom-made mug with a picture of Renakir’s epohh, Kali-Fal, on it, as a part of the mug. The epohh was in mid-jump and looked very cute and happy. There was a little card inside the mug that said “Happy Holidays!” on it. The card also had a few quick Christmas tree sketches on it.
Renakir soon arrived back home when he could finally open up his secret santa gift. He had been running around, meeting people, he completely forgot he even had a present. As soon as the doors to his room opened, Kali-fal came rushing out to greet him! The blue epohh jumped up and down, antennae wiggling about. "回家了,嗨,嗨我宝贝儿,过来吧 (I am home, my darling, come here)," Kali-fal blinked all six eyes to hearing her father speak in tongues. Renakir was trying to train his daughter to be a polyglot like him but alas, she only seemed to be proficient in Rihannsu. She knew some commands in French and Standard, but an epohh's brain was nowhere near as comple as a Vulcanoid's.Renakir picked up his epohh and headed into his room and into the RRW P'Low. Kali-fal rushed over to her tiny bed, watching as her father began to open the gift. "Let's see here," He unwrapped the gift to see, a mug! With Kali-fal jumping on it! "Oh, Kali-fal, look it's you!" He showed the mug to his daughter who just tilted her head. It seemed she was confused why there was a tiny epohh jumping on the mug, it did not occur to her that the epohh was her. "There's a card too," Renakir took the card from the box and read it. He showed Kali-fal the message as well, but of course she could not read it. "This was very thoughtful, I wonder who sent it. I guess it wouldn't be 'secret' santa if I knew," He said with a light chuckle. Carefully he placed the card and the mug back in the box and placed it in a safe spot in the pillow fort. He laid down on his large futon he had set up in one of the 'wings' of the P'Low and took his sunglasses off. He loved being in his room, it was the perfect temperature and the right amount of light too. "You wanna nap with me? Come here," Renakir extended his arms to pull his epohh next to him and held her gently as he closed his eyes. "Good night, Kali-fal Madeleine. I love you. Happy New Year."
After chatting with Saren, Renakir returned to his quarters with Kali-fal in his arms. He set her down so she could run around a bit while he packed. He wasn't going to bring much with him, he had clothes, shoes, all that stuff. If anything the stuff he had on Mol'Rihan was nicer than what he had on 777. Living on the Reman side, there was a lot more space so Renakir here had his own bathroom suite and everything, decked out with pretty rocks too.Anyway, Renakir grabbed his PADD and worked on composing a message to Tiravurik. He made sure to keep his words simple as he knew his father was still a beginner when it came to reading. He hoped Tiravurik managed to ask Men about taking time off because he was looking to leave the next day. Anyway with the message sent, Renakir was going to spend the rest of the evening with Kali-fal since he wouldn't be seeing her for a whole week. If only his father wasn't allergic to epohhs he would be bringing her with him, but alas, Cerrub was very much allergic to them. And really any critter with fur.
[D] Renakir and Kali-fal played together that whole evening, he even did some combat practice with her too, teaching her how to dodge attackers. When she was tired Renakir tucked her into her little bed in the RRW P'Low and they took a little nap together before it would be time for Renakir to visit home.
Soon Renakir and Kianarix reached his quarters and the two were greeted by a very energetic Kali-fal who was happy to see her father and a new person! There were so many new people and she loved that for her father. The blue epohh jumped on Kianarix, wanting pets and attention.
"KALI-FAL MADELEINE!" Kianarix immediately laid down on the floor to let the epohh jump on top of him. He loved playing with animals and it was a shame the Rylov's didn't have many (non venomous) animals for him to play with. He rolled around with Kali-fal as all of his worries and fears quickly melted away.
[D] Kianarix and Renakir played with Kali-fal for a few more hours before eventually both Kianarix and Kali-fal ended up falling asleep in the RRW P'Low. Renakir let them slumber in peace, deciding to just relax and do some reading on the other side of the P'Low.

Hi Renakir, hope you're doing well - I saw your name often in the work logs of Turbolift 2, and I've received some concerns about the environment of that particular lift lately, if you'd like to meet and talk about them to see if we could get to the bottom of it.
Kianarix was wokem from his slumber when he heard a loud pinging sound. He looked around, wondering where it had come from, only to see there was a very shiny blinking light coming from a PADD laying beside Renakir in the P'Low. How long was he asleep, Kianarix thought when he realised that both Kali-fal and his fiance seemed fast asleep. Anyway, he reached a long grey arm over to the PADD to see if he could read the message.Kianarix stared at the message for a few seconds before realising there was a little icon with the letters 'RH' at the top so he clicked that and suddenly the message was instantly translated to Rihannsu, allowing Kianarix to read it. To his surprise, he knew all those words, but he wasn't exactly sure what the commander was talking about.

Kianarix stared at the blank message for a few seconds, wondering how best to respond. Turbolift 2? Concerns.. Hmm, Kianarix began typing out the message now.
Hi Commander!
Yeah let's talk about it! Anytime, leggo!
And Kianarix was just about to hit send before Renakir opened his eyes and accidentally jerked his legs forward, kicking the PADD right out of Kianarix's hands.
"Kianarix?" Renakir said with surprise, grabbing his PADD, not realising when he did that he had pushed the 'send' button. "I'm sorry, are you alright?" Renakir didn't look at the PADD screen as he was much more concerned with making sure he didn't upset or hurt Kianarix. The lanky seaweed haired Romulan-Reman nodded and smiled, seemingly unharmed.
"Oh what were you looking at on my PADD? Were you trying to message Tiravurik?" Renakir asked as he turned his eyes to his PADD screen, seeing the 'message sent' alert. When he clicked out of the alert he noticed the message was not to their father and to... "Kianarix-Hatham ir-Levitasz tr'Rylov, you did not just send a message to my superior officer," Renakir's eyes widened as a rush of fear ran through his spine. He was actually planning on requesting another couple days off from work, but now he would probably end up going back sooner than anticipated. Renakir clicked through his PADD to see what Kianarix sent. The message was innoculous, thankfully, but Kianarix really... Used every Renakir emoji in the message. The cute little Renakirs that Kianarix had drawn for him. Well... He just hoped Commander Mitchell had a sense of humour.
"Oh a reply!" Kianarix said with a giggle, completely unaware he had done anything wrong. With one swift motion he snatched the PADD out of his fiance's gangly spider fingers and began to write out a response.

Renakir stared at Kianarix, absolutely dumbfounded at what he had just done. He wanted to be mad, everything was telling him he should be mad, but at the same time he was oddly impressed that his fiance not only could read the message but also create a logical response. There were way too many emojis but it was nice to see Kianarix get excited about something. "Kianarix-Hatham, I appreciate your enthusiasm but do not make appointments with my superior officers without asking me," Renakir placed a hand on Kianarix's arm, just like that meme with the cat paw on the human hand typing on the computer.
"I'm sorry Rennie... I just thought I was helping," Hearing Renakir sound so disappointed, Kianaraix soon realised he was not actually being helpful. He was so excited though, he wanted Renakir to get out again and see his friends and colleagues. He sighed and placed the PADD down, looking up at Renakir with his pretty light blue eyes.
"... It's alright. Let's see when you arranged the meeting," Renakir said in a gentle tone, picking up the PADD and looking at the message. "1700 at Surak Snacks... My treat? Kianarix, you make me sound like some rich boy," Renakir shook his head and then put the device down. "It's alright, thanks for making the appointment. I... Wasn't really sure when I wanted to get back to work but... I really shouldn't be taking so much time off now that I think about it."
"Can I go with you to the meeting?" Kianarix thought to ask because he could tell Renakir didn't seem too enthusiastic about meeting his boss so last minute. Whenever he felt nervous or upset it always helped to have someone he trusted with him so he assumed Renakir would appreciate the gesture too.
"..... You should probably--" Renakir began to say before he noticed the absolutely tragic look on Kianarix's face. He stopped talking and looked away, thinking about what would be the best possible course of action. He couldn't confine Kianarix to his quarters, that wouldn't be fair, but at the same time he was worried about Kianarix stealing things again or causing trouble wandering the station. "Yes, you can come. But you need to dress nicely," Renakir wasn't going to let his fiance dress in whatever mismatched outfit he could think of.
"WOOOO!!!! PARTY!" Kianarix threw his hands up, hitting one of the poles of the P'Low. Thankfully Renakir steadied it before the whole pillow fort caved in. That sudden exclamation also woke up Kali-fal who waddled over to the two large humanoids and bounced side to side to a beat that only existed in her mind.
"Okay, we need to get ready..... Both of you," Renakir thought maybe bringing Kali-fal would be good, it would give Kianarix something to focus because he knew Kianarix wouldn't be able to sit still otherwise.
[D] The Torre'vnau family got ready and soon headed out the door.
C’Sara walked into the common area and flopped down onto the couch. They had just got done with making their display case for their knives, which was on the table nearby. They were trying to think of a place to put it in their private area. But for now, they were drinking a strawberry smoothie and wondering what to do. The guitar playing, shuttlecraft master, plant parent Caitian was doing a lot of things, like deciding on what plant to put on the table, or if they should get a new cactus.
As the Caitian chilled out in their quarters by themselves, the doors soon swooshed open and... A man with a cowboy hat walked in, looking around in what seemed to be contentment with how the quarters looked like. With mismatched eyes shining at the chance of giving the most chaotic introduction he could muster, Francis dropped his bags and immediately pulled out the ukulele around his body, gently strumming it as he made his way around the common area.
C’Sara, a little bewildered but nonetheless amused, began humming along with the ukulele. Because what the heck else were you supposed to do? C’Sara had no clue about this ukulele wielding man. They were contemplating getting out their electric guitar and showing off, but this wasn’t the time. Instead they just listened. Then they got off the couch and began dancing.
He began humming and then stopped for a moment, before getting on the most amazing power pose and shredding "Thunderstruck" on the goddamn ukulele. You go, Francis.
“Oo, you playing Thunderstruck? That’s a good one! I like your style, funny man.” They said, the last sentence clearly a joke. They smiled a sharp-toothed Caitian smile and took a sip of smoothie. They were a chill person, happy to mess around with Roombas and cause chaos. Plus, they could access the tubes and that was a recipe for maximum chaos.
