[D] Many Vulcans found birthday celebrations illogical and although Sakkath was of that mindset themself, they were aware that many people appreciated birthday gifts. They had only just finished checking that all of their belongings had been properly sorted in their new sleeping quarters when they realised it was Syrax's birthday. Their betrothed that their parents had so 'lovingly' chosen for them. Their engagement had once been a point of burden, a reminder that no matter where they found themself in life, they would always be bound to their mother's rules. It wasn't until they had finally met Syrax face to face that they realised their frustrations towards their situation was shared. Through this bonding and conversations here and there, their feelings towards the other became more amiable and open. They were no longer pushing Sy away because of the hatred they had for their mother, but instead trying to bring him closer to spite their mother. T'Lora may have been a bad mother, but she was a smart woman. Sakkath knew she only set them up with Sy to ensure they would be as miserable as possible, but they would not do that. One could even say they were now friends with Sy. For the gift, Sakkath thought it would only be appropriate to make a sculpture for Sy. They had been practicing a lot and their technique had improved but it was still far from what Sy could make. So Sakkath decided to make something simple, they decided to make a simple peregrine fighter. It was going to be extremely simplified, but the shape and edges would make it distinguishable. They were not the best at sculpting organic shapes that didn't look like the leaders of the Dominion, so geometric figures were best. They worked with T'Kath who provided some 'details' to the piece in the form of bumping up against the clay and adding 'weathered texture'. x_divider

When the piece was completed, all painted , with Syrax's name written in beautiful Rihannsu script on the bottom, Sakkath replicated a base to hold up the ship and wrote 'To Syrax, from Sakkath' on it. They then went to work writing a note in the same lovely Rihannsu script. They added a bit of Vulcan flare in the text, lots of curls and designs. With the note written and the sculpture packed neatly in a box, Sakkath place it on the coffee table in the common area. They also included a can of 'D'DERIDEX XTREME TENAKRUVEK STRENGTH ENERGY'. It was something they did with Grivix and was unsure if Sy liked energy drinks, but they had all these extra cans they had imported from Mol'Rihan, it would be a waste to recycle them into the replicator.
Sy, Happy Birthday. I have created my best version of a peregrine fighter. This is a Romulan fighter so you can display it as it is, or take the ship away and display it as 'cloaked'. Have a good day, live long and prosper. - Sakkath and T'Kath.

A Secret Santa gift arrived for Syrax: A clearly soft gift neatly wrapped in red paper was delivered to Syrax, a precisely folded paper with Syrax' name on it in handwritten Rihannsu. The note on the paper explained something about the gift.
Syrax tr'Morvar I must admit I am not very well-versed in gift-giving, so I hope you will not mind the attempt. I have observed that people of all backgrounds find clothing that is big, warm, and soft, preferable to receive as a gift. I therefore hope I did not miss the mark on what I chose to present you with. Regards, One of One, sociologist
Underneath the wrapping paper was a massive, and perfectly soft, hoodie, deep dark blue with small white stars dyed into the fabric. Printed onto the shirt were ships, from all kinds of origins. It boasted a picture of the Enterprise- Kirk's Enterprise, that was, on the front, as well as several other iconic ships all over, from the back to the sleeves, all with their classification underneath them or in the print itself. One had clearly assumed that because Syrax was a pilot, he must like starships; but even for the casual enjoyer of starships, the hoodie was kind of cool. And, of course, hugely comfortable and massively oversized, even for a Vulcanoid.
