Star Trek: Starbase 777 - ┃bar-seating-1

Set at the dark-oak bar were a handful of tall bar-stools for people who intended upon staying at the bar instead of taking their drink away elsewhere.

He walked in, wearing a tight black leather cropped sleveless turtleneck with bright metal spikes ringing the collar, a pair of tight, dark red short shorts with silver spiky studs lining the seams, and a high heeled pair of black leather boots, sporting the same spikes as the rest of his outfit, all topped off with dark red smoky eyeliner, dark red lipstick and a bright red leather handbag and made his way to the bar, seating area after having grabbed a double pour of Earth Pechuga on ice. T'she took their glass of mulled wine and brought it to one of the empty chairs, moving to sit and imbibe. Though they did not notice, at first, that there was someone beside them, at least, not until they looked over. "I apologise. For sitting beside you without asking first. I may move if you wish." They responded, looking down into their glass of mulled wine, almost embarrassed, before they took a sip.

He turned to T'she as they spoke, his posture relaxed, as he took a generous sip of the clear beverage. He gave them a wide, dimpled smile, and gestured for the stool. "No, please stay! I would love the company, I have no idea where my friends are on this huge station!" He said entusiastically, before taking another sip and considering. "Are you part of 777's crew?"

T'she seemed taken aback by this, their eyes widening ever so slightly. They were used to solitude, and they were used to keeping their own counsel. They would answer his questions, of course, it was only polite to do so after all. They took a sip from their cup until they were ready to speak. "I am Lieutenant Junior Grade T'she Tamura. General Nurse on this station. What is your name, if I might ask?" They tried to offer a smile, but it looked... off... on their face, and they quickly dropped it, returning their countenance to its usual impassive state.

He gave T'she his full attention, leaning back in his chair as to not seem so large and imposing, an indulgent grin on his face as he sipped his drink, enjoying the spicy flavor and the company. "Good to meet you! Nurses really do such important work! My name is Ensign Nokkul Raaze, I'm a helmsman aboard the Rapture." "I know one can't fly a station, but I have to admit this place is quite a beauty! I've never visited a Starbase of this class before...its huge! Makes the Rapture look small!" He said with a booming laugh, and a wide grin.

T'she nodded, thinking back on their own experiences. After all, the Starbase was much bigger than their previous postings. They thought back for a moment, remembering their past, almost sad, but those times were over, for better or for worse. "The station is quite nice. I rather enjoy being stationed here. Though... I am not sure whether I prefer being stationed on a ship." (edited)

He smiled warmly at them, considering his past posting, and the thought of any future ones...that was something he wanted to avoid thinking about, he wanted to enjoy his time on Rapture with Sakkath, Syrax, Mishkaana and the rest of his friends. "I can see merits to both! I of course prefer a ship myself, as a pilot!"

"I spent ten years stationed on Ships, though comparatively little time on this station. There are... pros and cons of each, though it might be best to focus on the good things. Personally... I like the feeling of actually being able to help people..." T'she swirled the wine in their glass before they took another sip, staring at the dark liquid rather intently. Of course. There was a past behind their words, one that they rarely spoke about, but the wine prompted them to actually speak.

"I can understand that! I imagine you get quite alot of hands on work here with so many people on the station!" He said with a grin, before finishing off his drink, considering getting another one, and how that would look.

T'she nodded rather simply, leaning back in their chair and looking up at the ceiling. They wondered what they should even say, what sort of thing would be appropriate in this sort of context. After all, they were never quite good at making friends, they were even worse at making small talk. They would try, at the very least, they would try their best. "I enjoy working here. And I hope you continue to enjoy your own post."

"That's awesome! And I absolutely will!" He said, noting just how empty his glass was, before standing, and giving T'she a wide smile. "It's been lovely chatting with you! I think I'm gonna go be cheeky and get another drink!" He said with a belly laugh. "You gotta love an open bar! I hope you enjoy the rest of the ball!" He said, and walked back to the bar, empty glass in hand, ready for a refill.

T'she was beginning to get overwhelmed. Things like this, loud events, well, they had never been the nurse's strong suit. In fact, they absolutely despised them most of the time. With a shaky breath, they stood, moving towards the lounge, where they could hopefully find some peace and quiet

Ti was currently sitting in the bar seating, chilling in the corner with Shilen as the two shared a bottle of springwine, which was a favourite of the pair. They were currently keeping to themselves, just enjoying the calm atmosphere.

Who else was at the bar, a blue skinned Andorian sipping on some wine. She was there in a dashing black suit and mask combo as she sat there before giving a small wave to Ti from her side of the bar and leaning back with a sip of her drink.

Glancing over the man nodded back to Vara as they made eye contact, continuing to talk to Jei as they continued to drink. Not wanting to overstep and waiting for Vara to come over and introduce herself.

Vara smiled as she walked over with a smile. “Hellooooo there! Aren’t you lovely looking fellow, if you don’t mind me saying! You enjoying yourself?”

Ti let out a brief chuckle, looking up at Vara. "Hey, I'd say so. This is quite a good atmosphere, we're both enjoying ourselves very much. What about yourself?"

Vara gave a tiny little chuckle as she sat there. “Oh sure, I’ve only just joined the Intel department a few months ago from my old job! So this is my first one of these as an officer.”

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Commander Tivop Cronos, XO of the USS Rapture. This is my wife, Shilen Jei." He said with a smile. "You have a wonderful station here."

Vara gave some finger guns at Jei before smiling. “Pleasure sir, Vara Zh’rahlor! And thank you, I’ve only been on it a few weeks now. Very homey, very nice!”
