Allan blinked at her, caught off guard by how different she looked - like she was someone doing a bad cosplay of her instead. He hesitated for a second, actually taking a rare moment to think before he spoke. "I... do, yeah," he said softly, not wanting to be loud enough for anyone else to hear. "You said your mom didn't want you talking to me, that I'm a bad influence, and then, um, blocked me? I... I'm gonna be real, I don't actually understand it, but, um.."
He let out a breath and rubbed the back of his neck, looking off to the side and then back at her. "Listen, I don't understand and I don't know what's going on, but right now, you... this..." he frowned, the concern in his eyes pretty evident, "you don't look okay, okay? You don't have to tell me anything, but I just.." he took in a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. "I'm confused, yeah, and I.. I miss you, Maggie, okay? And I'm still here. That's... I just want you to know that. Yeah."
