Vara'l slipped into the Reman exhibition his movements quiet as he entered and started to look around. Once inside he slowly moved from exhibit bit to exhibit bit as he looked around and considered what was on display. As he continued to look around, the Romulan remained silent bar the occasional thoughtful hum as he considered things on display. Eventually he moved on to the Romulan exhibition once he finished his look around. (edited)

At the Reman exhibit was Renakir and family. Yea ALL his family. Kianarix, Tiravurik, and Rai. They had a number of rocks on display that people could pick up and look at. They had information cards on all the displays explaining what they were as well as some history notes that explained the history of the Reman people. To the side of the rock display they had a small screen that played (on silent) reels of animated footage preserved by R-BALD. Currently Shrek 2 was playing on a loop so visitors could see some great bald fictional characters. They also had a photo gallery with pictures of different settlements on Remus. It was a mixture of sad and wholesome images. There were families shown eating and singing together in dark caves, but also images of Reman workers busy in the mines. It was a reminder of the hardships their species faced and the community they built. The photo gallery also covered modern Reman history with photos of Obisek and Xiomek who fought for Reman freedom. There were photos from the Reman Resistance's early days. The photos chosen were not those of war that were common in textbooks, but photos from a civilian perspective. A few photos featured one of the three Remans at the both. A baby Kianarix dancing in a tree or a young smooth-headed Tiravurik holding three trays of hot pies at a barbecue on his Reman colony. And then another picture, of a Reman woman who looked a little like Renakir, she was swinging a comically sized ax into a tree. Further down the timeline there were photos of Reman families on Mol'Rihan, a few photos Renakir had taken on the beach from the last shore leave. There were some photos from Rai's time in the Republic on the RRW Tenakruvek. Rai was standing next to his Reman CO who was tugging on his ears and making a silly face. Around them were the rest of their senior staff, made up of Remans, Romulans, and even Vulcans. There was a random neiirrh in the photo too, flying over one of the officer's head.

Rai was helping with the food part of the booth. Tiravurik had prepared small samples of Reman rock candy and Biscae Biscuits for people to try. There was a menu of what they had and an ingredients list so people would be aware of what they were having. They also had samples of Reman Ale. A drink similar to Romulan ale but somehow stronger. Just as blue. Kali-fal, Renakir's epohh daughter was also present, sleeping under the rock exhibition table in her little epohh bed.

Essen popped her head in, but decided to stay as she saw both Rennie and Rai there. Strolling inside, Essen glanced at the in-depth photo gallery from Rennie, and then the food part of the booth with Rai. "Hey Rennie! Hey Rai!" Essen said. "Hope you don't mind me stopping in."

When he saw Essen, Renakir stood up and waved at the tactical officer. "Jolan tru, come look around! You can touch all the rocks, we also have foods and some Reman ale if you're into that. Don't worry, it's in small cups," Renakir gestured to the displays on either side of him. Rai stood next to his brother and waved at Essen too. He was just there being awkwardly tall.

The Unified Pair were exploring the festival; even though they weren't seen, they were definitely at the opening. They walked down the promenade, their ocular sensors taking in the vibrant array of colors and shapes that decorated it. The Bynar pair moved in perfect synchronization, their steps measured and precise as they navigated through the bustling crowd. Triple 1 and Triple 0 approached the Reman exhibit; their curiosity was piqued by the diverse array of displays and information presented. They entered the exhibit hand in hand, carefully examining the rocks with their eyes, while Triple 1 kept his free hand to his side. Triple 1 was impressed by seeing all the exhibits; they were smiling and having fun at the festival so far.

Triple 0 was having the time of their lives, taking everything in. It was unlike anything they've experienced yet. Even at Mckinley station they didn't have this level of diversity. Once they got closer to the rocks, unlike Triple 1, they immediately started to look and feel the rock with their free hand, curious as they sent the data over to Triple 1 and Master Computer. They let go of Triple 1 hand to take a closer look at the rocks and to read the information about them. (edited)

"Jolan tru," Rai greeted the pair as they approached the display. He was a very tall and large Romulan so he bent down a little so he wasn't so imposingly tall. "Feel free to look around. You can touch the rocks too," Rai sais as he grabbed one piece of Reman granite that looked like it had white spots in it that shined when they hit the light just right.

Triple 1 nodded respectfully to the taller Romulan. *“Good day to you, too,” *they replied, their eyes widening at the sight of the Reman Granite. Their curiosity was piqued, and they reached out to touch another rock, drawn in by the stones’ unique properties. ”These are-“

Triple 0 finished their partner’s sentence seamlessly, *“Such unique rocks, how did you pick them?” *They smiled at the Romulan, moved closer to Triple 1, and very quickly scanned the room, seeing the rock candy/food in the other area. They had to try the food for research purposes.

"We brought them from Remus. They special items passed down through my family," Rai explained to the two Bynars. He didn't know much about their species, but he thought it was neat to have so much synergy with another person. Rai had always struggled with socialising and connecting with others so to him, it was very new. "We also have edible rocks, they are a little hard so I would advise not biting them but instead sucking or licking, like a lolli," Rai explained as he gestured to some wooden sticks with pretty rocks on them.

Essen also took a look at the rocks, intrigued by what made them so special on the outside, but as she heard Rai explain they were from Remus and passed down, immediately her fascination with the rocks skyrocketed. "Edible rocks?" Essen asked genuinely. "I can't say I've ever heard of those. Are those common on Remus?"

"Yes, because Remus does not have a lot of natural wildlife. We have lots of extremophile organisms and such, but those are not edible," Rai explained as he reached towards one of the picture cards on the display to show Essen. It was a zoomed in image of a fungi that lived between the rocks in the caves of the planet. "This is Penicillium Remusforti, it is a common fungi found in our caves. If you are familiar with the terran fungi Penicillium roqueforti you may have guessed its usage," Rai said as he grabbed another card and showed a giant white block on a cutting board next to a bowl of pasta with red sauce. "It's used to make Biscae Blue Cheese and it tastes excellent with the rocks. It's a good source of nutrients and pairs well with the natural minerals in rocks," Rai put the cards back onto the displays and grabbed a bowl of rocks with a stringy white cheese on them. "These rocks are safe for non-Remans to eat, they're soft, like... what is the type of hard bread... Hard bread, crude... Crude... Very rude tongues." Crutons, but he was close!

Essen nodded as she looked in curiosity, studying the display that Rai had, and looking at the zoomed in image of the fungi. This explanation was quite interesting as she had never tried anything like this before. "Huh!" Essen said, matter-of-factly. "Well how about that!" She said as she watched Rai grab and display the card with pasta and red sauce. "Biscae Blue Cheese, eh?" Essen said. "Well, I can't say I've had too much to eat today, I think I'd be down to try any of the edible stuff ya have! Heh, if you have any left, it sounds like it's a delicacy..."

"We do! We brought tons of food," Rai grabbed a few more cups of rocks and cheese to show Essen. They were all labelled! As he was grabbing the cups he noticed his brother's face as he was reaching over him. He could tell he had said something to embarrass poor Solait because the Romulan-Reman man was covering his eyes with both hands. He was gonna ask what he said later, but for now he wanted to bring Essen the Reman cheese! "You can try all of them or one of them, anything!" Rai placed all the cups in front of Essen.
