Terahl had been given permission to take photos of the event, and was doing just that for the time being. The orchard looked beautiful as always, especially with all the colorful fruits ripening (or already ripe!). He wasn't hungry quite yet.

She looked around the orchard with a soft smile gracing her features. Her mask hides her expressive eyes and she lets out a soft giggle as if she was a child back home on the family farm. She was not hungry either and she wanted to explore.

Snake was dressed in a pair of navy blue jeans and a light blue polo shirt, along with some loafers. He was just keeping things simple, he didn't want to overdress or underdress. This was comfy for him, and so he kept on moving without too much impedance from his outfit. Noticing two others there already, Snake approached the two with courtesy, although he was a bit more aware of his communication style, given how the parasite fiasco went down. "Hey, uh," Snake began. "I hope I'm in the right place. Haven't really come here too often, so. The name's Snake! Mind if I join you both over here?"

"It's a free party, the point is to mingle." Terahl chuckled, adjusting his sunglasses back on as he lowered his camera. "Terahl Th'vhireq. Journalist. It's my pleasure."

Twelve slipped in then and, as she spotted the people about the place, gravitated over toward the Andorian and the the person who looked to be human. As he moved over, the El-Aurian proceeded to speak as she overheard what both of them said. "Hello, may we also request to join your group over here?" The Liberated Borg inquired.

Snake's eyebrows raised in intrigue upon hearing Terahl mention that he was a journalist. "A journalist!" Snake replied, matter-of-factly. "Well then, I guess I better get ready for my portrait headshot in the galactic news." He proceeded to say with a tone of voice that oozed playful sarcasm. "Just joking," he then continued, genuinely. "It's nice to meet you Terahl. Alan Grayson, Command Lieuteuant Junior Grade and Diplomatic Attaché, but most people just call me by my moniker, Snake." He noticed the camera that Terahl was using! "That is a sweet camera you're using, wow," Snake said, indicating his being impressed. "Whoever you're doing journalism for, they hooked you up!" Before he noticed Twelve coming in! "Oh hey! Yeah, I don't see why not, come on over, friend!" (edited)

"That's cute. I'm self employed, and I don't make a habit out of interviewing random officers. I mostly cover disasters with the occasional 777 event." Terahl's smile was sharp & smug as ever as he moved his sunglasses to hang off the neck of his dress, camera focusing in on a blossoming tree. It was a good thing he's gotten a hypo for allergies before he got here. "Ah, thank you. It's nothing like those fancy holocameras you 'fleet officers use, but it gets me by and it's served me for a good few years."

Twelve inclined her head in a thank you when Snake proceeded to indicate they were okay to come over. She then headed over as she plastered on a slight smile for a brief moment.. "Thank you, also, it is good to meet you, we are Lieutenant Commander Twelve of Twenty, a Intensive care doctor." The Camera then also caught her attention there. "Holocamera's are something we feel rightfully are designated as 'nice' however, we find we also regard the camera type you are using highly also." After she said that, she idly mentally filed away for later consideration Snakes use of the word sweet. It seemed she needed to investigate the word further, as it seemed to have additional uses further to what she happened to be aware of.

Snake couldn't help but snicker at the way Terahl responded. This guy had a bite to him! Snake liked that, he enjoyed being able to have banter with others who had a similar communication style. "What can I say? Cute is my middle name," Snake joked again, before he smiled at Terahl, denoting once more that it was a joke. "I'm surprised I haven't heard of you before! Sounds like you have everything figured out. But I can also understand that more often than not, press can be bad, so." Before he looked at the camera Terahl was using once more. "Nah nah nah, that's the real deal, holocameras in my opinion are cheating. Stick with the authentic stuff like that one. Captures the best photos with the most detail."

The Liberated Borg noted Snakes response with a detached interest. The response itself something they dissected briefly as they analysed the Lieutenants demeanor and other factors about how they conducted themselves and arrived at the conclusion this officer was what Rakim would have called 'Quite the character'. "We are unsure how holocameras can be cheating, the effect they produce while still somewhat in the school of what can be produced using old style camera technology does have some differences in potential end result." She paused then as she considered the best way to better put that. "Our personal opinion is well, while Camera's quite nice in and of themselves, we do feel Holocameras have situations where what they produce is better than Cameras of the sort you have designated 'the Authentic Stuff'."

"Well, it depends on just what you're trying to do. Holocameras aren't bad, but there's a certain nostalgia, y'know?" Terahl shrugged, snapping another photo of the party in the distance before gently tucking his skirt under him to have a seat under a tree. "And it makes sense. I'm not a big name, even if I'm self-published. I kind of like keeping it on the down low. Mingling with the common folk," he joked, waving an idle hand.

"We don't really understand the concept of nostalgia." Twelve commented briefly. "We just..find Cameras to fit the aforementioned designation and otherwise find the end result of their use and what you can do with them to be just as agreeable to us as it is with the use of Holocamera's." She paused a moment then. "Even so, we can..understand that and... we must admit, they are easier to keep things on the 'down low' with than some of the holocamera's we've seen." After a moment, she then sheepishly observed. "..We realize that was a joke, apologies." (edited)

Snake couldn't find the word he was looking for, but Terahl did. "Nostalgia! That was the word I was looking for, yeah. There's something about older cameras that are just -- they have this authenticity to them. Tangible photos that you can hold, like ancient Polaroids, those things are authentic as hell. But you're right, holocameras aren't necessarily bad, it's just personal preference in my case," Snake said with a shrug. "Honestly, it's probably better you're keeping things low, keeps you safer anyway, so." Snake shrugged again. "Heh, mingling with common folk certainly is a fun pastime, I get you on that front." Before he heard Twelve speak up! "Oh, nostalgia? Yeah, it's just -- moreso an appreciation for how technology used to work and what it did, things we take for granted now that used to be the biggest revelation in technology. As an actor I've been in situations where I've been filmed with literal film cameras, and not holocameras, for scenes and stuff, so. Depends on who ya are, I like the nostalgia, like Terahl said."

She was sitting in a tree and she decided to speak up "I prefer a normal camera that makes things feel vintage, I guess it is because of my parents."
